When i was in 2nd grade (like 7 yeras old) i used hear all the songs from DDLJ playing in every marriage ceremony. And i didn't know what movie is this or who is the actor, singer or composer i fell in love with these songs .. and still in love with this music and i am 34 by the way..

The director wrote the script for Tom Cruise in mind . Aditya Chopra wanted to cast Tom Cruise for the legendary role of 'Raj Malhotra' in 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge' as he wanted it to be an Indo-American affair. But Aditya Chopra had to re-work on his story as Yash Chopra didn't want to make it with foreign star.
