Almost ten years since we visited Lackland and the beautiful city of San Antonio to see our boy graduate as an honor graduate. Proudest day ever. He has served in Afghanistan, South Korea, Italy, Poland, Estonia and the US. This is a great video - brought me back like it was yesterday! He still serves today and has made so many great friends.
I'm just retiring from the Air Force....I was a military training instructor from 2015-19, I helped convert the 326th from Airman's week to a line squadron, I helped stand up the MTI training program at the 326th, I was the first black rope in the 326th, I recognize the stairwells that these family members are walking up, I've walked up them hundreds of times in the course of my duties at the 326th...inspecting dorms, yelling at airmen, prepping them for their time in the Air Force...I absolutely loved it. Thanks for this video.
Now that I'm watching further into the video I see the airman showing off his wall locker to his family. It was a $130K contract to move all the wall lockers from the old 331 TRS to the 326th to convert it back to a line squadron and I witnessed all of the grunt work to make it happen.
Max Mikkelsen you get a clothing allowance every year to replace any unserviceable uniforms. I got in when ABU’s we’re still being issued so now I gotta buy em. Once you get issued uniforms initially, you won’t get them again unless you’re in a certain job field.
Beautiful video. I love it. Blessings to you on your AF journey. You graduated 1 week after me. I was Nov 21 2019. So we got to wear our Blues as the weather was better. Still y'all did allot on your weekend pass. That's amazing. Even going to church. That is so cool!
Thanks for putting that together! Congrats to your brother and your family. My son is there right now and we're so excited to go in March & watch him graduate!
Jordan, this was such a kind thing you did. Graduation is a blur and Isaac will have this forever. You are a good sis! Proud to of worked with Isaac pre-BMT and proud of your family!
Man i remember my ceremony like it was yesterday. Been 2 years n i haven’t seen much of the world due to my job. But man it’s still 100% worth every moment.
Thanks to all for signing up to join the American forces and to protect all the Americans and my farther in law was in Vietnam and buried in kilien Texas and l pray for all who are serving over seas to come home safe to their love ones 🇺🇲🇨🇦🇬🇧
This was amazing! I'm going up to the recruiting office right after the whole virus thing blows over! Best of luck to your brother, and God bless your family!
You can see my family in the second row from the left in the stands they are dressed in all neon green which was easy for me to see when I was getting my coin
I love the video. I plan to serve soon. I’m planning to Join the United States Army. Join as a Infantryman but then work towards Ranger and someday Special Forces
Hi! Thanks you sharing this video! I am leaving for AF BMT in 10 days and shared this video with my mom who ended up in tears! Congratulations to your brother. Would you please share a list of all the places you all visited after graduation?💞
I know they’re probably one of the first groups to get OCP’s but why did they still issue ABU’s to some of the trainees? My only guess is that the ones in ABU’s got recycled into their flights. Can anyone clarify?
When 8th weekers think they are so cool compared to all other weeks because they are graduating and then they show up to tech school hearing " WELCOME TO SHEPPARD" And your guidon bearer during graduation is in my tech school class... that boy is something else
Bruh these ain’t soldiers, they airmen. I’ve been bamboozled, fooled, tricked. It’s so weird seeing y’all like that it’s hard to tell the difference at first glance. Congrats tho airmen

be glad you didnt have to pay for those OCP's. damn things almost ran me dry
smufr why does the AF make you pay for uniforms?
Damn that sucks my base gave them to me for free
@@maxmikkelsen166 they give you an "allowance" to buy them

The beginning of this video is so wholesome
I had the same MTI’s. Except our main instructor was TSgt Collado. Dormitory B2, graduated 3 months ago, pretty awesome to watch this. Congrats!
I was in the first flight she instructed in the 326th a year ago, and I was in dormitory A2, except she wasn’t our main instructor.

i graduated almost 3 months before him and there’s no better feeling. but i got stuck with the ABU’s😂

Flacito1 Gaming that was definitely one of the most annoying things I’ve ever heard, far away from that place tho
Baden Cent And it was always the people who had been at Sheppard for only a few weeks who said it the most which made it even more annoying lol
I leave may 19th😭😭 excited yet nervous asf
Best of luck to you!
Since when do they not wear blues for the parade?
Maybe we're still active at war or maybe it's a rainy/stormy that day.
only two of the airmen did actual pushups that day. Lmao congrats on graduation brother.
