All I can say is WOWSERS!
I’m just starting on my 2nd build, my 1st had multiple errors that I’m hoping I’ve learned from.
Every guitar I’ve seen that you made look absolutely Top Notch. I hope I can achieve such a level on my own.
Thanks so much for your helpful tips.
    Be well/Stay well

Thanks for another enjoyable and informative videos. I hope to someday build a instrument that approaches your level of expertise. That said, and assuming someone hasn't already brought this up, I am now going to put on my "Mr. Safety" hat. I like using boiled linseed oil on some wood projects but I have heard / read that it contains various petroleum-based products and heavy metals to speed up the drying time. So maybe disposable gloves could be used for wipe-on applications. Another and even more immediate concern is that rags that have linseed oil on them can spontaneously combust. A couple pre-disposal methods I have read about are to let the rags dry individually (not piled up) or to soak them in water in a sealed container and then dry them out. Don't take my word on it, take a minute or so to check into this yourself.

I didn't know that there was a pop quiz, so I listened again. They all sound fantastic! The Cohiba is cool just because, but the black lightening with the f holes is sweet. Send me all of these and thank you 😂

Thanks for sharing. Though the linseed oil if it is the real thing will take some time before it is dry. Also you want to mix it with 50 % turpentine to make it get absorbed in to the wood easier.

Very informative and entertaining as always, Michael. For me it's a toss-up between the Cohiba and the Black Lightning. Boiled linseed oil is a great product; fairly inexpensive, easily available (in the UK at least) and makes a great finish. I've watched many videos in which musicians play raw blues with a slide- I like that kind of music, but your demos have shown that a cigar box guitar is a much more versatile instrument than many people think. Looking forward to the next one!

I used boiled linseed oil on a neck last year then decided to polish frets..tape would not stick..still won't but I like the finish..it just needs to be final step I guess..now to watch the video..thanks for the videos

Hello I was wondering if there is a "best" place to put the neck P90 pickup. Like halfway between the 12th fret and the bridge, or something like that? Or do you just put it as close to the neck as you can? Thanks!
