I'm not going to lie, the husband not supporting his wife is shitty, but the "I'm not at your beck and call" comment tells me his mom got in his head. She's still his mom even if she's an evil witch. I feel like they really could have benefited from couple's therapy and bouncing things off of someone with an objective opinion. I hate that the internet's only advice is to go nuclear and dump his ass without consideration for her entire history and relationship.
