- Angry Birds Star Wars combines two massive, and nostalgic franchises. Obviously, this makes it really fun to speedrun. And who knows, maybe my strategies might get me close to a world record...

@@ScorpV1 The Second Death Star was under construction. It wasn't an exhaust port like the first one. It was essentially a large maintenance shaft because they have to have SOME way to continue construction.
Also, the exhaust port in the first Death Star wasn't an easy weakness. It was a design oversight (we later learn in Rogue One it was planted by its creator as an act of sabotage) but it was still a difficult shot with heavily guarded approaches. Targeting computers missed the shot. It took a Force sensitive person to make the shot

I remember in the levels where there were pigs with guns I once spent the whole night without sleeping just throwing the birds at the laser shots and laughing, yeah my mom wasn't very happy when she came to wake me up for school and I was there playing on my phone for 8 hours straight lol

I have fond memories sending the laser shots from the pigs to a key structure and ruining the level.
Same here, the satisfaction I got from always doing that was crazy!
Now speedrun the entire storyline, that being Tatooine, Death Star, Hoth, Cloud City, Moon of Endor, and Death Star 2, in that order.

I played the game on PC, but I had to factory reset it in 2015, and its motherboard died later.
I never downloaded it on my phone while I had the chance.
I was absolutely addicted to this game and its sequel. I loved the different strategies due to the variety of mechanics and birds.

Let's be honest, the abilities they gave each of the birds in Angry Birds Star Wars are so true to the movies and I love how they Angry Birdsified the story. Really well done game, especially for a collab thing like this!

One of my favorite little details from this game was being able to reflect the pig's blaster bolts if you time the lightsaber right

Not sure how you feel about recommendations, but I recommend that you try the Egg Defender levels in Red's Mighty Feathers from the original Angry Birds. Whether speedrun, or gameplay, I just think it'd be fun for you to play and for us to watch.

How the Death Star was before it was destroyed
The scientist who made the superweapon laser possible was tricked by the empire - he thought he was working on a project whose goal was using Kyber Crystals to create power plants that could power whole cities, and when he learned that this was a lie he fled from the empire with his family, only for them to catch up to him and recapture him - at which point he "agreed" to work on the Death Star because he could see that they could build it WITHOUT him using his research notes from earlier that he couldn't destroy during his escape (because the empire had already copied them). He then deliberately put in a single perfectly straight cooling shaft right to the Death Star's main reactor - this DID flag up a warning in the empire's system that it was an issue, but he buried it under several hundred alerts for radiation exposure to non-officer quaters, and tricked his superior into clearing them all and approving it without reading the entire list.

You can use the Lightsaber and The Force to redirect laser shots. Very OP with the lightsaber as it homes in on the nearest pigs

I love how when I played this game I lost on the first level like 50 times and then speazy just does the entire thing in one run.
Its cool that I'm actually replaying the Part 2 of the game, and this time, saving all the birds and pigs I never got to use (like Kanan, Zeb, Tusken Raider, etc)

When I was I kid I tried to "speedrun" this game. It wasnt really a speedrun as much as much as it was just playing a bit faster then usual. And now here I am, 7 years later, watching someone beat the game that took me a 5 days to beat in 18 minutes.

Also, i noticed that you can use your ability for quite a time (like 2 seconds) after being hit. I often use that for my Red to "dig" more with the lightshaber and kill more pigs with one bird.
