Wow beautiful quality on the Apple Vision Pro! Was this made with the R5 Mark II with the 5.2mm f/2.8 L Dual Fisheye lens using the workflow you detailed in your last video?
It is the workflow I detailed in the last several videos - BUT it is on Canon R5 C not R5 MK2. I know, I can't wait to go back with my MK2 - that will be Oct. Plane ticket bought lol
I don't understand you Hugh, for years you teach me how to do VR and then you go and do something awesome like this and CANT STOP MOVING THE CAMERA! Please listen to your own rules and never move the friggin camera! So much Innovation in this video, but it took me multiple days and tries to watch because you had to walk around. Just the little walk in the park was enough to give me a day of headaches because I was so immersed in your shots.
Haha agree. But inside Versailles is also not allow Gimbal so our movement is handheld. We were experiment here. My rule of not moving still hold, but then I want to break my own rules to see what is going on. It is art than science. This channel is all about experiment and show you what not to do. Yes. the movement might be too much on this one for some people and since then, I build more crazy rig to handle movement.
Hi, this looks sharp. But I am only getting 2160s60 resolution max when viewing on PC and Quest 3. Is this considered 8K VR180 because it is doubled by two visions? Or am I missing the setup something on the PC and the Quest 3? Reply would be greatly appreciated...
I watched this in both 2d and VR on my Quest 3 and it looks like the Canon camera/lens combo cant handle the low light in the Hall of Mirrors as other regular dslr/lens photos I have seen, show a much more light filled room. I was really surprised at how dark and murky, the distinct lack of contrast this looked with this camera. It seems to work alot better outside in broad daylight though. Having the two lens on the one sensor appears to be blocking out to much light compared to the regular sensor and one full lens combo. Perhaps this points to VR cameras solution is two sensor’s and one separate lens each to maximise the light getting through, two video files turned into stereo via the video editing software. It’s interesting to follow the VR camera tech to its final solution, but I dont think this from Canon is the one imo. Laurie NZ. 😊
Correct! I am doing the animation this time on Vision Pro - while it look great on that, everything else is too small and the compression kill the text clarity... lesson learn on my end lol. Thank you for the feedback.
I disagree with the hosts assertion of 3 paintings showing memberships of some secret society as from art experts reviews of paintings of European aristocracy and royalty they actually are propaganda of the times proudly showing their superiority and political and military powers to the populace of those times. Imo. Laurie. NZ.
The hosts back isnt a good look, the face up close to me face in VR. It misses the subtlety of opulence implied with the lace dress with the surrounds. imo. The alarming swinging hand close up in VR is not a good idea. The glimse of 1700s soft core porn as debauchery is not what I think Canon and Meta were really expecting. It is the architecture here which is the main star for a doco like this imo and what I expected Canon and Meta expected to see their products showing off. Imo rather disappointing but hopefully the host will learn from these mistakes. 😊
Thank you Thank You , brough back lots of memories , look so real like i am there
Glad you enjoyed it.
拍摄很好!很漂亮!使我们又想起当年的场景。加油!
Ooooo Color looks GREAT! Can't wait to check this out in the headset (Quest 3). Awesome.
Thank you!!

Looks great in Q3. 60fps is essential for VR.
Wow thank you! The Quest TV link still processing but it will look better to show refresh rate synced 60fps playback
If I have mine set to default should I set my quest to 60 hz or does it automatically adjust to lower frame rates? I believe default is 120 hz
It auto adjust. You don't need to do anything.
Can I view this on my Apple Vision Pro
You're such a cutie! Really enjoyed the experience, and loved your little black shoes. Bravo! Watched on q3 in quest tv.
Thoroughly enjoyed that, great narration, stories, info, sights, made me want to go there
Glad you enjoyed it. I still highly recommand to see it in person. So worth it. Just avoiding tourist season - so many people lol
Awesome... ❤
Thanks 🤗
How do i get the best viewing quality for this video? RUclips app, meta tv??
What tools have you used for upscaling here? :)
There is no upscaling. The video is shot in 8K - no AI involved lol
@@hughhou Upframing I meant sorry :D is 60fps original?
Hi friend, could you upload a tutorial on how to convert 360 videos to 180? Your content is excellent.
Sure. It is here: ruclips.net/video/PAioHJedAwQ/видео.htmlsi=Q5gcP5xkvbkD7a42 - still the workflow

Oh, 4320s I see! Please never mind my question.

The text seems like it could stand to be punched up a bit.

The augmentation of text for user taste and the ability to see venues without ephemera (tourists) if desired will add to UX.
Thank you for the feedback. 100% agree.

Upframing* I meant @huhghou - or is 60fps8k3D by the camera? :o
Yup
@@hughhou Wow great!
