      I mean, they are trespassing. The only thing that doesn’t make sense is that when they get hit but then later leave the next agents can still get hit by the same trap

    Now show the part where agents disable literally every trap walking in and all your cost/research/maintenance/effort means nothing.

      Huh, agents actually get to the traps in your base? Mine immediately murdered the first minion they saw the instant they left the casino and I had to kill them before they ever touched any of my traps.
      Actually I guess that's not true, Symmetry and X and their goons bumped into my traps every so often, but they were just immune to them.

    It would be cool if the "utility" traps (fan, magnet, bumper, etc) and some of the more complicated ones were harder to disable. And they were a bit "smarter" in combos, like if they could be switched to trigger when an agent is about to leave their AoE instead of entering it.

    I hope in the future we see EG3
    And I hope that in some way the story will be connected to the two. You can age them, give them children or specific rooms just for them. IVAN >a new type of weapon or military under the color of red would be like RED IVANIA military. Maximillian better security when it comes to safe, bankers' room. Or something like for each genius a different kind of individual, one. To spice up the gameplay. What do you guys think?

    When it comes to traps, it is a pity that you can not give in a square on the wall as well as on the floor.

    I like the thing of traps combination but most of the times are literally worthless all of them. Any enemy can disable it, even if is steping on it lol.
    4 guys start fighting on a laser wall, you maybe think "Now the trap is going to kill them" , the real thing is what there is one agent what disabling the trap meanwhile has crossed like half of it.

    At least traps in the first evil genius were actually lethal.
    EG2 now has a shark tank...where agents easily jump out of it EVERYTIME. Lasers tickle the agents, Fire is like warm air. Theae traps now just waste time, money, and space. Sad because traps was the funniest part of the previous game.

    The OG does the traps better. Frankly, i came to see what if anything I was missing.
    In the OG you could link traps and have them trigger other traps. Now you have to make sure they only go one way. You could rig motion sensors to only trigger traps when they crossed a certain point. They did improve on a lot o things so I guess I can give them credit for that. Like the fact my minions don't ever trigger traps now. But that's more of a bug with the OG than an improvement.

    hi Rebellion Team, i think we need to add one more thing to do for the prisoners (apart form interrogation and brainwashing). can there be an option to ransome the prisoners? the higher the prisoner's capabilities, the larger the ransom money (but also that comes at the cost of Heat increase, as the freed prisoner will inevitably speak out about his/her time inside the Lair).

    Yeah, cool, traps, except they only ever hit ONE guy 90% of the time. TRIGGER devices FFS. A motion sensor or trip wire halfway down a corridor that triggers the fan trap that then blows ALL of them would be far better than how it is now, where only the one guy that steps in front of it gets affected. I got a big ass trap system that drains over 300 power, and yet still 2 or 3 agents make it out at the end.
    If you would just put trigger devices in, traps would be far more effective than they are and actually worth buulding.

      @@omlo9093 No, like in the first game. Pressure plates, trip wire lasers and motion detectors that you would link to a trap.

      They removed the trigger mechanisms? Shame, those were so fun to play with in the first game and added an entire dimension to the trap setup.

    Did not cover half of what the traps do. For example magnet traps that are allowed to contact a victim will damage resolve and vitality.

    i don't think i am the only one thinking this way, but what is the use of traps when most of them get shut down by the enemy? i hardly see a trap go off, not sure why.

      Probably MUCH too late, but for me I’m having lots of success with fan traps hidden around corners, pushing into killer bees, followed by shark tanks. I leave a couple freeze rays in view, in the range of the fan. If the agents fail to disarm a freeze ray, the fan pushes them through ALL the traps. If they fail to disarm the fan, it pushes them through ALL the traps. If they disarm the fan but not the bees, they have to flee and do it all again. And at the end of it all is the shark tank, which I very rarely see disarmed, even if many of the other traps were. Slap down this combo, repeated a handful of times, and you can do HUGE damage to agent resolve

    Honestly guys, traps suck. The game is actively better for me because I ignore traps and just max out of muscle and cover operation. TRAP COMBOS SHOULD BE A BONUS, NOT A NECESSITY(to make traps worth having) . Single traps do bugger all so traps as they are currently are literally not worth the time, space and effort to use them.

    My complaints so far; not enough deadly traps, agents disable every single traps, visitors keep triggering the traps before agents get there... and please allow traps to be put on each other ie laser on the wall n gas on the floor on the same place...

    This seems rather off-topic but; it would be nice if there's a crossover with the C&C franchise.
    Having Yuri (Red Alert series) and Kane (Tiberium series) as masterminds with the CABAL as an optional computer announcer.
    It would be ideal with the Evil Genius theme, hopefully if there's a possible crossover.

    Did your recent patch fix the traps? Or is this some kind of Beta build, Because my traps don't work like this, They don't work most of the time...
