Honestly, this mode would be so much better if it at least only picked multiplayer tagged levels.
No, the reason we play is for the terrible experience
at least what I know, all the levels in multiplayer is tagged for multiplayer, even tho theres nothing written on the screen when you start. The real problem is the players creativity to make a good level...
Most levels tagged as multiplayer are shit as well
I’ve been thinking if you could select if you want only multiplayer versus levels or all levels, sorta like the difficulty select in coop

So I beat everybody to the flag, and I was kindly waiting. They all jumped in a warp box before seeing the flag, so I laughed and waited, when they popped out at the tip of the flag... possibly the worst loss I have ever had
I like how he says he’s going to beat Luigi with his offscreen fist and then like a minute later he’s defending Luigi
I really like that air battle vs level. Making people try to fight in the air and one person has to try like hell to get into the pipe is a pretty cool concept.

They should add a multiplayer mode where your opponents are transparent and you guys can’t interact with each other. The system they have is only good for levels that are actually good and not total garbage.

Versus levels should be phantom based, where everyone has their own independent stage, but you can see a transparent version of the other players, that could help with lag, and it would prevent all the rage and bullshit of the levels already, since they already have to be designed to be beatable as one player
