your display is so inspiring and it's so amazing, at the first i thought it was real but it wasn't cause the truth is it's just a model display,,wow so impressive!!
Those traveling carnivals that come to the communities and have all those rides and amusements I don't think there wasn't a single ride from popular carnivals not in there!!
I can only imagine the hours of work that went into this display. Quite obvious that it's a labour of love. Might I ask where you purchased the Zipper model?
I love all of the rides in this video, but how come that wave swinger/wellenflug isn't going? that is my favorite one, plus I love those kiddie rides :-) :-)
This is just like the State Fairs I used to attend. It brings back wonderful memories. Where does the chairlift model come from at the beginning of the video? Thanks for posting your display.
Port hope Fall Fair Set up 1. Yes, RAH models are portable models. You can fully build them as a ride model or you can rack them (trailer load). 2. And thank you very much. I enjoy sharing something I love to do.
Very impressive! Was wondering where you purchased your ferries wheel at about 2:51 on the timer? I've been looking for Eli ferries wheels for Ho scale but no luck. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
vegasdavetv There is an assortment of models that were in different stages when I got them. Some were finished models, some were partially built & I completed them, some were fabricated & I assembled them & did the paint schemes, some were kits I built, kit bashed, & some were scratch built. I did a good bit of the paint schemes. The support trucks & trailers I painted & did the graphics in water slide decals or on photo paper that I cut out & used a glue stick to attach. I did all the grass, walkways, shrubs & trees.
At 2:50 I noticed you have the Cobra ride Is it a kit or scratch built?, as a kid I always enjoyed that ride as well as Gravitron, Zipper, Scrambler and Super Loops, I'd be interested to know if you were to ever find those rides again or build them would you be able to make those for me and I could give my email address and I'll pay for them too :)
Are you a member of the Circus Model Builders club? You have one heck of a display. I started building my carnival display last year. I am a fan of the circus and carnival sideshows. I noticed that you have quite a few in your display. I am curious if you could take a picture of them so I can see the show fronts in better detail? What state do you live in? If you would like I can give you my email and we can talk more.

Scott Knudson I found an old record 33 1/3 album of a carnival midway & all the sounds from the 1950’s. I had the record played & as it played it was dumped into a video/audio computer and had it digitally recorded. Then I put the recording on several small MP3 players that were spread around my display with different sound tracks playing.
Joseph Neisser Joseph Neisser The side shows are there. One is around the 1:30 mark of the video. Look to the far right of the video & you’ll see it. As the video moves along you’ll notice the sideshow is on the other side of the bumper cars. The other two side shows are around the 3:01 mark of the video.
I stand corrected were ever on the fair circuit i was last person i worked for was dean Potter circus of the fantastics and the first show was shaw&sons amusements
Impressive layout! My favorite ride out of all of them is the Sky Diver.
This is so amazing! I want to walk through there and go on the rides! 😊🎡🎢🎪🎠
WOW. I Love it. My favorite is the Roco Plane ride. I never saw that in a small model.
Very Impressive!
Thank you!
Amazing!
Thank you!

I have a separate switch for the Wave Swinger & three other models. I didn't have that switch on.
Oh
I love your carnival layout. How many individual rides do you have?
How many rides are there?
Amazing model but you need alot more people on the walking path. Lines in front of rides just a huge mess of people like a real carnival.

I believe the FW you're asking about is a kit bash & custom build. Part of the model, the rim is from an FW IHC kit. The rest is a custom build I did.
did u buy and assemble them, if so where amazing 5stars

How did you acquire that HUSS Enterprise model? It's made by a German fellow who wouldn't sell to the USA or so I thought.
I got the kit from RAH Models & then had to do a lot of custom build. A friend of mine actually customized it for me. We swapped out some model work.
do you have scheme or videos about the motorized? Do you have some of this rides to sale? Thank you

They are moving too fast. Not natural speed in real life.
Thanks for pointing that out.
Aperson could put in some different gears to slow it down. But not that easy or cheap.
Cheap sure from ebay but takes skill I have done it
