Father I am a 15 years old from USA. I have been struggling with sin and have always dealt with spiritual warfare. My father has also recently been diagnosed with cancer and it has spread. You inspire me to keep on going and to strengthen my relationship with God. You showed me that god has a plan that I need to trust. I want to say thank you. I’ve never found men with so much wisdom until i found orthodoxy. I’ve searched throughout protestantism, converted to Catholicism, and now I found Orthodoxy. It’s so peaceful and calming yet powerful. Unlike many protestant churches, the orthodox does not make the church adapt to the flesh yet that man adapts to the church.

@@williams.carpenter2362 Yeah that can be the case. Don’t let the language deter you and they might change it if you start going. It’s not a dogma to have it in one certain language. Talk to the priest. The Kingdom of Heaven is the Kingdom of heaven in any language. Plenty of the Elder Ephraim monasteries are completely in Greek but they attract tons of American pilgrims and many American monks.

Father Spyridon, I have had been troubled and aching for so long about conceiving a child. At times I have felt despair and hopelessness in my heart blaming God and blaming myself. I know I have idolised the idea of wanting a baby more than God or anything else. Your videos have been very encouraging and I ask the saints on earth as in heaven to keep me in their prayers always. May this be a reminder how we all need to keep looking to God for everything and without Him, we have nothing. I believe God is good and his goodness is for everyone who believes in Him. Amen.

I was raised baptist. I am lucky I had that seed planted at a young age as I’ve done for my three sons. I’ve fallen into deep sin and knowingly have failed my Lord after he so previously died for my sins and I needed to hear your words to bring me out of a deep dwelling of despair. My uncle, who somewhat replaced my father in many ways transitioned to orthodox later in life as it is the only denomination that goes all the way back to Jesus and I am proud to at least subscribe to this channel and hear your spiritual advice Father

In your sharing of the Jesus Prayer,a demonic attack upon my person, during thee evening hours whilst sleeping,was thwarted by my reciting Thee Jesus Prayer.
As i was awakend by said attack, remembering your words,"The demons flee when we recite the Jesus Prayer",i began to recite,"Lord Jesus Christ,Son of God,have mercy on me,a sinner". I could feel the demonic delusion wane from me the more i continued ,"Lord Jesus Christ,Son of God,have mercy on me,a sinner".Within moments i was assuredly, peacefully, confidently in Christ,fast asleep again!

I was raised baptist. I am lucky I had that seed planted at a young age as I’ve done for my three sons. I’ve fallen into deep sin and knowingly have failed my Lord after he so previously died for my sins and I needed to hear your words to bring me out of a deep dwelling of despair. My uncle, who somewhat replaced my father in many ways transitioned to orthodox later in life as it is the only denomination that goes all the way back to Jesus and I am proud to at least subscribe to this channel and hear your spiritual advice Father
