That is so cool, how they use the windshield plastic ! less plastic pollution. I love this bag, from the semi shiny material to the outrageous colors : Orange with blue handles and pink zippers ! I, too, have a thing for duffels, I don't know why, but I'm adding this one to my collection .
The plastic fabric thing is essentially pul-- the plastic is laminated with the fabric. So while it's not 100% waterproof, it is extremely water resistant.
Blue clip to blue clip, pink clip to pink clip...brilliant for idiots like me! Also love the ability to turn it into a back pack. How much does it weigh empty?
I am wondering the same thing. I actually contacted Eagle Creek and they said that 1 x XS, 2 x SM and 1 x M cubes would fit in the 40L. But if you got the cubes that are specifically for compression, you can fit more. I haven't bought the bag yet, so I can't confirm this for myself. Would love to see a packing cube demo with the Migrate 40L!
How do you find the backpack carry when the duffel's packed a bit heavy? That's my biggest question about both this and the Cargo Hauler tbh. I'll be getting one or the other, I just can't decide which! The Migrate is made of somewhat sturdier fabric, but the CH has two pockets and packs down so neatly - kind of important for me since I'm looking for a duffle that I can carry in my backpack or suitcase when not in use. How well they work as backpacks will probably be the deciding factor for me..
FaerieDust I’ve never tried to CH so I can’t speak to it. I will say these straps have good padding to soak up a heavy load but it’s definitely made to be carried by hand first (IMHO). It feels more like “oh my hands are full, I can still carry my bag” situation. Ya know what I mean? Good luck!!
FaerieDust I just bought the 40 L and in there you can fit around 20 shirts (rolled up) and 3 pants (rolled up) and you have a little more room in there..
@@rafaelmogollon9181 Thanks :) it's not the volume I'm concerned about though, I just want to know how the bag feels when carried as a backpack. My current travel bag is 38 l, so I have a great reference point for how much the volume will hold :)
Eagle Creek says these bags hold 40L, but the specs say the size is 10.25" x 18.5" x 9.5" which should be 29.52L. How'd they get 40L out of those dimensions?
I love what they stand for! I love that they’ll fix the bag instead of throwing it away!
Yes!! Totally agree. Thanks for commenting and watching. Are you looking for a duffel?
@@bhaz yes lol I want this one! I wish they made some a bit smaller for the gym love the versatility, the material and the colors

It is so rad! Gonna use it this weekend on a trip, actually!

Yeah, exactly! You can't go scuba diving with it but it's great for a rainy day on top of your car.
New sub here man! Nice review and funny haha
Thanks so much! Love seeing this!
@@bhaz well I commented on your Instagram if you remember man!

It's pretty light! And yes. Brilliant!!
How many packing cubes fit in there ? Thank you for your video! (Y)

@@rafaelmogollon9181 Have you tried the backpack configuration? How do you like it?
PSA: Do not slide your bag under the bed in a hotel. That's where the bedbugs hide!
Make sure to store your bag as far from the bed as possible.
OHHHHHH. Good call! Noted
@@bhaz PS: I got the Migrate 60L and I absolutely love it ;)

I think on these they count when you unclip the sides and expand it a little more...it's tight but good.
