what breed of dog did you say you chicken guard dog is? I am interested in using chickens to manage pests on my future farm. I wanted to use a dog to protect the flock. Was it a specific breed or just the dog's personality (or both)?
they are Maremmas, they are amazing!!!! Great breed - read read read before making a decision on breed that is the right match and on small/smaller lots, you would only need one, but read before you commit, these are not your average dogs :)
