Great to see classics being cleaned up. I'm in the middle of doing up a David brown 1212. Which has been in the family from 1978. Its Starting to take shape 😃🚜🚜
Nice to see you make a start on the old lass.I can’t remember seeing that many 70s steyr’s around my grans, mostly the 90s bigger stuff on council works. Lol don’t ask about projects, 5yrs and the trac is still a rolling resto 🤣😬🤦♂
Great video it’s a lovely tractor I’ve rebuilt a 160/90 from top to bottom I’m currently starting a 880/5 cylinder fiat and I still have the 160 she’s going nowhere took me nearly 5 years on and off to complete
It's always far more interesting to work on something a little different much to easy to go and buy a load of bits and bolt it together. My current project is a Same drago it's mechanically spot on now but cosmetically challenged!
@@mrcvxbeing a fiat man it pains me to say it but the Same is far more powerful than the fiat 1000dt with a much better turning circle. However the gearbox is a Z pattern which takes some getting used to.
Great video.👍 Your right the hand throttle is also the stopper, if you push it almost to the top it stops her, but it will also help with starting. if you push it all the way to the top once she fires pull it back to the middle. We have a Steyr1100 and that how it works on her... I'm currently lookin for a water pump for the 1100 if you have any idea where I'd get one. hard to find in this country.
Unique lookin tractor haven't seen too many of them What ever happened the major with the muirhill engine Currently building a muirhill 121 A lot of tin worm

A lot of tin worm
I sold it, if was at a complete standstill and I was missing a lot of bits that needed time to get them,
My winter project is watching guys like you do up tractors... much easier 😂😂
That sounds like the best plan
I'd trust that 869 hours about as well as gas station sushi.

Your better off Order parts from mainland Europe, you get taxed twice on anything from the uk now and delivery from Europe is not unreasonable
🇨🇮😁❤️👍🙏

You will get there at some stage
