ISU SSP15 - Gerald Soffen Memorial Lecture by Mihkail Marov

As a colleague and friend of Gerry Soffen for many years, and as an eminent member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Mikhail’s distinguished career span space science research from its earliest missions to Venus, the moon and Mars. Currently, Mikhail has been studying the Chelyabinsk meteorite, which exploded over the Ural mountains in February 2013, and has made some fascinating observations about the meteorite and the age of our solar system.
