I would say it is definitely noticeable for me and the price to performance is a no brainer. Ideally I want to get an amp for the door speakers to use there full potential but still an upgrade in sound quality and volume. I also notice a lot less distortion.
Not a good how to. You can buy the brackets to not drill and expose bare metal in your door(attract rust), you can also get speaker wire adapters to not have to cut your factory wires... Also, you should have bought Component speakers vs Coaxial. You already have 4 tweeters in your car.

I noticed on the new Civic the back speakers play a lot lower than the front speakers when you install the new ones did it eliminate that problem
I never noticed that I adjusted my settings to be in the front for ny base tho
