It would be helpful if Procreate allowed you to create sub folders. I was wanting to add brush packs into the same folder but that’s not possible. Your video really helped with having a strategy to group purchased brushes and the icon idea is genius! Thanks for sharing this! 👍
I create categories in each folder with words (created with brush stamps) - then move my brushes under those titles. If you have Skillshare search my name (Marlena Larson) - I show you how in my class there
What a great idea to make categories headings with an emoji to give it some extra visual aid. I have 2 brushes that I use a lot so I finally decided to use the quick menu that flies out. I have mine set up so when I tap with 4 fingers I can see the 3 brushes I use a lot, plus clear page. Like you, I use a mono line brush and that’s part of my quick menu it’s so easy to tap to get that brush. Thanks for sharing your tips!
I have purchased several brush sets from a specific artist. Is there a way to move all of the brush sets under one name - such as “Alaina’s Brushes” or does each brush in each set need to be moved individually? Hopefully I’m asking correctly!
You can select each of the brushes at the same time by swiping them to the right. The brushes all turn blue. Then you can move them all at once. (Sorry all of my comments disappeared so I am not sure if I answered this previously :) )
Thanks for the organizational tips... this is one area I think Procreate could improve on! I'm really curious what the course was that you took on Sketchy Doodle Drawing... I am just starting out and maybe doodling is less threatening for me. Have a fantastic day!
Do you do "swatches" with your brushes? ie... test out the brush and keep a record of what each brush does like people do with physical color pencils and markers? I'd love to know some good ways to do that as I forget what each brush can do!
incredibly frustrating video. I'm a beginner, I wanted to know how to make a new group and how to add brushes to it. Apart from the fact that I learned to make a group, the rest was blah blah blah, how many brushes I have, blah blah, that's my favorite. USELESS.

From a fellow "brush-hoarder", thank you for the great tip! Looking forward to putting it to good use!
The brush library needs a big update. Thank you for the tip!
Just started with Procreate and was going crazy because of the Brush chaos. That's such a simple idea, thanks! Will try it out!

Another great tip is to move some of your favorite brush’s and create a new folder I did so I have all my favorite brush’s in one folder 🐾🍄💐
You are the best! Just what i was looking for. Thank you.
Glad I could help! If you have Skillshare I have a class on there with more ideas :)

OMG! So helpful for a procreate newbie! Hey… a girl can never have too many brushes
😂
How do you move just one brush into another group of pens?
Here you go ruclips.net/video/l85nvRrOw80/видео.html :)
Thank you for this video ☺️
My pleasure! I'm glad it was helpful
Awesome vid! I’ve also purchased a number of brushes but find I only use a few. Great suggestions in the comments as well.
I'm glad it was helpful!
Thank you for this :)
Great ideas, thanks
I’m glad thus was helpful!
Do you know how to delete a selection?
Three finger swipe down and then cut.
Can you have a brush under several lists?
Yep! Just duplicate it first before you move it (swipe to left)
@@APenandAPurpose Thanks! I'm a newbie and this helps!
No you are not the only one ❤️
HOW DID I NEVER SEE THAT STUPID PLUS SIGN FOR THE GROUPING-

Thanks for your feedback. Have a nice day :)
Organizing brushes is so annoying omg. Especially with the awful drag and drop which barely works.
The trick is to open the folder with your other hand instead of trying to drop the brushes onto the folder name. I hope that makes sense!
@@APenandAPurpose ahhh! Thanks!!!
I hope you get your video simple please
Please specify what you mean? My Skillshare class goes through this topic in more detail.
The idea for this video was good. however you talk way too much, and I still don’t know how to add a brush to a specific group. Get to the point!
What a positive message to wake up to! ;) Here is a video on that ruclips.net/video/l85nvRrOw80/видео.html
Now that was exactly the information I was looking for! Thank you very much!
