      Basically you don't really use r. It's a mix of both but mostly l.

      The way I remember the difference is through OTT (O resembles inverted T) & UT (U resembles T) add another line and O becomes YO & U becomes YU. That's how I remember

    But when you say Lu it's sounds like ru..I'm confused all the time sometime it's sounds like Lu but most of the other words other like ru for ex..uri

    I thought it is only closer to l? You said la, lya, leo, lyeo, lo, lyo, lu, lyu, eu, i. And then when you start making an example you start saying them with r like amerikano, reosia, noru, miro. Can you explain more??

    When this letter ㄹ is placed between vowels, it looks like r for non-Koreans, and when it comes at the beginning and end of a word, it looks like L for non-Koreans. Is this the same grammar padchim?
