It'd be cool if the apples were somehow linked to those of Tree Trunks :') Also, I believe that the place where the giant chicken was defeated by Finn & Jake is connected to the futuristic place in which Simon and the humans now live. It's not just the eyes, it's the whole "flying island" that looks alike.
That would be cool! But I think they linked it to the episode where the squirrel is from "Up a Tree" because in the episode Finn eats one of the squirrels cursed apples and gets small also.
For the End Credits, Fionna had mentioned it Ep 1 (Dream Theory). The dream is just a look into your multiverse life. Before it was ButterFinn and the Bear thing. This one was the truck (wagon) and apples.
Anyone else notice the *DESERTION* marker under Martin in episode 4? Other criminals have different markers like wanted. The only other time we see the description Martin has is the Sacred Flame guy who left his post. I wonder if Martin actually had a Cosmic job before his time in the Citadel. Or maybe after he left with the Catalyst Comet. Either way for someone like Scarab to be after him it means he did something even worse than going to the Citadel
I always assumed that when pillow world Finn died golb was just there to symbolize annihilation in death and not that golb was on his way to destroy pillow world
19:50 The back left wheel falling off may be a hint about something which has been recurring since episode 1 with the Gingerbread man’s leg falling off. The reason I believe these are connected is because wheels can be considered a car’s “legs”. I feel like this may be foreshadowing Fionna losing her leg as opposed to Finn losing an arm.
I think the dream that fionna and cake are having about the truck with a fallen wheel and apples in the back is just another proof of parallels between universes. In ooo the cart full of apples gets knocked over and the wheel pops off, but in fionna and cakes reality it would be a truck full of apples that it happened with. Just a callback to the parallels of the universes!
About the hotdog knight, they actually did survive the episode because Jake made a wish to bring them back. It didn't have anything to do with Prismo, unless that mud snake thing had some relation to him.
I think the truck missing a wheel does refer to the squirrel. The wagon the squirrel pulls loses a wheel when Cake runs into him, much like how the truck is missing one in the dream. It’s not in the exact spot, but it’s a close enough connection to be related to each other
Yeah I remember thinking “well in the clip you showed right before talking about the truck of apples the wagon of apples loses a wheel and is also the same color as the truck.”
I want to speculate that the song cake heard was from betty (new glob). She is in some way trying to help/protect (through distracting), simon to move on. Gathering things/people he feels close with to help this process. Domino effect. 2: im doing a fan theory as a metaphor for betty watching everything. 3: i think the apples in the truck are a "tackling to big/heavy if things for someone who cant go/do anything" type symbolism. Given the apples made cake big, the truck being broken meaning it cant go anywhere. Its stuck. Even if the wheel is right there.
14:39, thats completely wrong. Prismo's particle teleportation works bit by bit, the thing Cat did to the hotdog knights is turning them into her own universe's non-magical state. Think about it, Cake just did a universe crossover, so just like in spider man across the spider verse, she glitches her and anything else around her.
There's no real implication that Golb KO'd pillow kingdom. He could've been there because Finn was in a different universe and that can stir up chaos. That's how pillow people would still be alive. Also, about the ending credits it looks like a real world version of the apple cart because a wheel fell off of that too.
Omg if they're bringing back so many Adventure Time minor characters, including dead/missing ones, then I really wish they'll bring back LSP's boyfriend Johnnie!!
I still don't understand why Finn would have forget-me-nots around a tattoo of Jake while they hangout together in the start. It just feels too much like it would be a tattoo for remembrance. So either they aren't each other's respective Finn and Jake, or its from the past and Finn just got a "forget-me-not tattoo" while Jake was still alive. Both options are weird and bonkers. Although that being said in Fionna and Cake, the tattoo flowers seem a lot more purple than blue which might suggest they aren't forget me nots, leading to "its from the past" and Finn just got the tattoo while jake was alive. Obsidian definitely seemed like they were trying to hint that Jake was already dead though. And another point for that its alternate reality Finn and Jake is that the arm is different. But still, that doesn't explain the tattoo unless this Finn lost his Jake and they teamed up in a new-timeline. Or potentially this is some wish altered reality where Jake got resurrected or was something along the lines of "I Wish Finn and Jake never stopped having adventures" Or lastly, Finn having a tattoo in the intro might just be an animation mistake. (That would likely get fixed as a plot point for a later episode lol)
4:13 He's mad that his summoning of Betty didn't work and he's taking it out on Cake. The more details he learns, the more he gets upset. That could've been his wife going through a portal.
2:57 I personally think that the starting scene with finn and jake is a flashback of their adventures which took place in the twelve year timeline after the gum war and before the events of fionna and cake. finn is most probably on his mid 20s assuming that he's 17 in come along with me and maybe jake passed away before he reached 30. and for the tattoo, i think it's safe to assume that he got it while jake is still alive for no sad reasons at all, maybe just a silly idea like what pb and marcy wanted to do like yk, getting matching tattoos but turns out to be something more significant along the way bcs that's how tattoos work most of the time, right? an artistic expression of something important to a person. and prismo here is still grieving over jake's death and rewatching their old adventures is his way to cope. i kinda cried during this scene tbh sighhh
4:10 I think it's just because it's the ice cream truck theme and he resents ice 19:55 You can see the wheel fall off the cart in the clip you show lol I think the truck is like Fionna's world equivalent of the cart and that's the only reason it's also missing a wheel
I think since the wheel came off the apple cart it’s just a reflection of that, but the broken down rusty truck could mean we get a farm world episode next
I feel like even if Simon successfully does the ritual to summon golb since betty and golb are the same thing Betty would decline it because she knows that it would be dangerous
About the eyes I hope we get more flashbacks from Simon and Marcy Reminder that the empress used simon as a minion for her own benefit "Sell Your Soul Into The Skies, Surrender To The Epress Eyes
My theory is that Simon can't summon Golb because Golb doesn't exist anymore, but Betty and Golb created a brand new entity in come along with me. Both Betty and Golb at the time of this episode don't exist.
I suspect some of these cameos might be look alike from the same kind if people to serve as an Easter egg. Furthermore the pillow people might be from a different pillow people that just so happened to occur in this universe as well.
Ive been thinking about the whole finn amd jake alternate universe thing alot. The fact that they are together as full grown adults kindof gives me the impression that our jake didnt die of old age, i think he might have been killed on a mission when finn was younger. But the fact that this finn still has the jake tatoo on his chest confuses me a little.
The fallen wheel looks like a literal reference. Your own junpcut actually showcases it for like half a second. The wheel falls off the cart carrying the apples. So it's a non-magic version of the apple cart I guess?
I feel like the truck with the apples foreshadows to them being transported to farm world given if I remember correctly a lot of the trucks were broken down
The squirrel's fruit cart lost a wheel in the episode, and fionna and cakes dreams in the credits are a reference to things that have happened in the episode but through the perspective of a "normal" world
10:57 late af, but I just recalled the weird green toast guy. maybe someone's pointed this out by now but he's in the ep "5 short graybles" as part of finn's catapult
I think the truck is an indicator that the squirrels counter part in Fionna's world also sells apples in a beat up truck. After all when the squirrel gets pushed by cake the wheel falls off. I think this one is just on the nose.
"In addition to the righting reflex, cats have other features that reduce damage from a fall. Their small size, light bone structure, and thick fur decrease their terminal velocity. While falling, a cat spreads out its body to increase drag." - The reason Cake took zero fall damage from that height
I don't know if there's anything deeper to it, but you can see in the clip of the cart getting pushed over that one wheel comes off, like in the dream with the truck.
14:27 if I remember, I think finn wished for the ancient psychic war elephant and then made the elephant wish for jake and the hotdog peeps to be recovered I think
Am I the only one who notices the purplish haze occluding the sides of the screen in the Cake market scenes and afterward? What is that? Whose eyes are we watching through? Check out time stamp 14:02 for example. Or 14:09
I'm led to believe Astrid is calling his bluff and made the connection between Simon and Ice King, as no one else likely has even mentioned Ice King to her aside from the novels in question.
*My Best Guess On The Apple Truck Dream At Then End of ep3:* The apples represent the apples on the cart the Squirrel has, the missing wheel literally being the missing wheel that comes off the cart. You can imagine the cart being right side up and the missing wheel on the truck matching the same spot on the cart. Dreams are going to be connecting to the magic world but not always as obviously, mostly symbolically with meanings and stuff. Truck representing someone taking the apples and the missing wheel being the missing wheel that pops off, like future vision but with dreams and trying to figure out what means what. There dreams are related to Cosmic Owl dreams, but instead of death or something, it's just the future happening. This whole series is giving my beloved show so much room to grow it's insane, so many connections, theorists are going to be eatin good for a while.
I don't really understand why prismo is so upsrt about jake dying, prismo exists outside of time, so he can communicate with jake at any point in his personal timeline, from a narrative perspective it's good because he's like the only .ortal that prismo befriends, but I don't really get it from a lore perspective. For that same reason that prismo can just watch any point in time, I don't yhink finn and jake at the beginning are an alt universe, in between current events and come along with me.
yeah, i don’t really get this dudes reasoning either. i think prismo is just over his job as wishmastsr, similar to how that one dude that made tea at the start of episode four was over his job.
@@hernandez4856 yeah, in ep 4 prismo did say he was over his job, but that was all the way back at at least the first fionna and cake episode, logically. And we see prismo after that and he's not all depressed and stuff, so I think his reasoning that it's at least partially about jake is the intention of the writers, just that that doesn't make sense within the lore of the show
It could be that he doesn't have new Finn and Jake adverures anymore, but going through this series, he will happier because he has new advetures, fionna and cake's adventures
@@GiPi_M oh yeah that could be true, it's just strange because he's always had all of the stories, since he exists outside of time, so he never had new stories besides when he first found them, unless he had to watch them in real time so it wasn't u ntil jake dies or a little after that he ran out? Honestly probably just overthinking the creators wanting to make prismo sad about his friend dying and trying to be absolute with logic when beings outside of time are incredibly hard to make relatable in that way since they logically should have a totally different way of thinking, which I did kind of get to from the first few instances of prismo
i think the truck is either a callback to the episode when finn, jake, and that small bannana dude all built a truck. OR the truck and apples makes me think of the countryside, perhaps farmworld where we will see farmworld finn?
14:10 the hotdog knights are alive because at the end of the episode “the limit” finn had the ANCIENT PSYCHIC TANDEM WAR ELEPHANT wish for everyone to be revived
I have so many thoughts about ep 3 and 4 that I should probably wait until the others air before forming a final opening, but my first impressions were very mixed. Firstly, I knew the trailer was probably going to be very different from what we got, but I'm a little disappointed the egg and rooster weren't tied to Abraxus/Malus. Cool death scene though. And I was especially disappointed Kumail Nanjiani didn't return to voice Prismo; the new actor does a good job, but it almost feels less personal to me, especially considering how much more of Prismo and his backstory we're seeing. And in general, I don't know how I feel about the red beam origin, after all our theories it seems a little underwhelming. But, we still have plenty more episodes to go, so I'll keep an open mind.
The problem is that they never revealed the beam's origin and now they did Idk why people are being so damn rude about something that never had an explanation and that, now, has one that's logical to the story we're following Like, a wish master that watches everyone because it is part of his job hiding the pocket universe he made in the crazy senile man with the most powerful magic brain? It makes sense! It being just a random laser beaming the life of people from another universe without an explanation would've been anticlimactic
@Fretz667 I think it just happened too quick, it felt jarring to have something we've all wondered about and theorized over for years explained in a few seconds. But like I said, this was just an immediate first impression and who knows how the rest of the series will go, and I have overall hugely enjoyed all 4 episodes so far, especially the Easter eggs, background characters, and the songs and scoring.
The thing behind Prismo's voice change is kinda sad. The VA tweeted that he was sad for not being recalled for Prismo, one of his favorite character to voice, and one of the writers responded that they had asked him to return, but his manager had refused the offer apparently without telling his client
@@cescobb4647 uggghh that's horrible. I'd always thought that Kumail enjoyed the role, which is why it seemed odd that he wouldn't come back, but this explains it. I hope he changes managers.

I'm shocked at the amount of things you missed and equally or more shocked at the things you got. Also the pyramid with an eye is Bill Cypher, an Easter egg from Gravity Falls.
I believe the hot dog knight being glitched is more of a consequence of cake being out of her home dimension
Bro this show honestly makes me so happy, I was so scared that they were going to mess it up cuz Adventure Time is my favorite thing ever (Including Distant Lands) and I am so happy that this show is doing well. It feels so much like Adventure Time, it adds a lot of value and new stuff to the lore and overall it treats the characters so well it’s amazing. I’m loving it so far, I’m very hyped to where all this is going.
I was thinking it was going to be bad because like other spin off but when i see the trailer I was so happy i tough like Reilly bad spin off
Same💯❤️
@@terrology lol
Dude i love it! And i love the addition of a more TV-14 approach on the show because it feels like we are all growing up with the characters as well. I will take as many Adventure Time spinoffs as I can get because it is my favorite show ❤
@@GreedyGreedent yeah for sure, it having more mature elements (even more than the original AT show and distant lands) makes it a lot better I agree
Finn wished all his friends back to life in The Limit ending That included the hotdog knights.
It'd be cool if the apples were somehow linked to those of Tree Trunks :')
Also, I believe that the place where the giant chicken was defeated by Finn & Jake is connected to the futuristic place in which Simon and the humans now live. It's not just the eyes, it's the whole "flying island" that looks alike.
Nah, she weird
I always assumed that when pillow world Finn died golb was just there to symbolize annihilation in death and not that golb was on his way to destroy pillow world
That is correct
I thought golb was in-between worlds just chilling and when Finns spirit came back to ooo he just happened to dodge it
Pretty sure the truck with the broken wheel was just a reference to how the squirrel's wagon kept losing it's wheels through out the episode
Agree.
that pfp gives off 6yo girl vibes
19:50 The back left wheel falling off may be a hint about something which has been recurring since episode 1 with the Gingerbread man’s leg falling off. The reason I believe these are connected is because wheels can be considered a car’s “legs”. I feel like this may be foreshadowing Fionna losing her leg as opposed to Finn losing an arm.
i think its just that the wheel falls off the cursed apple cart.
The Rat Bus in the first episode also has one of its back tires pop.
oooooh i love this theory!!
14:30 I’m pretty sure that the Ancient Psychic Tandem War Elephant brought them back to life.
12:38 That mushroom person is Reggie from daddy daughter card wars.
It’s not in the exact spot, but it’s a close enough connection to be related to each other
hahahahahah fffuuuuurrrrrryyyyy get a less generic soma and pfp
Yeah I remember thinking “well in the clip you showed right before talking about the truck of apples the wagon of apples loses a wheel and is also the same color as the truck.”
The green toast guy at 10:56 is probably a green chair cushion and is a pillow person. I have a chair with that exact style of cushion.
Traditionally in adventure time
Eyes are seen hiding in the environment sometimes not even hidden during dreams
I want to speculate that the song cake heard was from betty (new glob). She is in some way trying to help/protect (through distracting), simon to move on.
Gathering things/people he feels close with to help this process. Domino effect.
2: im doing a fan theory as a metaphor for betty watching everything.
3: i think the apples in the truck are a "tackling to big/heavy if things for someone who cant go/do anything" type symbolism. Given the apples made cake big, the truck being broken meaning it cant go anywhere. Its stuck. Even if the wheel is right there.
9:46
How can you not remember it? He's the wizard who gave Finn the grass sword lol
No he's not, that wizard had brownish orange skin and a yellowy green robe
I think their dreams show the real world version of the objects in ooo such as the truck representing the wagon
All of the hot dog knights were wished back by the end of the episode
There's no real implication that Golb KO'd pillow kingdom. He could've been there because Finn was in a different universe and that can stir up chaos. That's how pillow people would still be alive. Also, about the ending credits it looks like a real world version of the apple cart because a wheel fell off of that too.
Thin the blue truck with Fallen wheel is an interpretation of the Blue Wagon with its fallen wheel as both were blue, carried Apples and lost a wheel.
Omg if they're bringing back so many Adventure Time minor characters, including dead/missing ones, then I really wish they'll bring back LSP's boyfriend Johnnie!!
19:58 Squirrel's cart losses a wheel after Cake runs into it
The truck with the broken wheel? Could be Truck Guy, who remains one of my favorite one-episode characters in Adventure Time.
Or potentially this is some wish altered reality where Jake got resurrected or was something along the lines of "I Wish Finn and Jake never stopped having adventures"
Or lastly, Finn having a tattoo in the intro might just be an animation mistake. (That would likely get fixed as a plot point for a later episode lol)
The hot dog knights do get revived at the very end of “the limit”
20:02 I only remember the banana man truck, maybe interconnected with jake's death? I don't know, I'm just theorizing
19:50 Bro, you can literally see the wheel of Squirrel's cart fall off 5 secs later
4:10 I think it's just because it's the ice cream truck theme and he resents ice
19:55 You can see the wheel fall off the cart in the clip you show lol
I think the truck is like Fionna's world equivalent of the cart and that's the only reason it's also missing a wheel
I think since the wheel came off the apple cart it’s just a reflection of that, but the broken down rusty truck could mean we get a farm world episode next
I liked how unhinged and cruel Simon was when trying to make the connection again.
I feel like even if Simon successfully does the ritual to summon golb since betty and golb are the same thing Betty would decline it because she knows that it would be dangerous
I think the gree toast guy was from when fin and jake were trying to do that epic hi-five. He was below finn's catapult
The next episode will be titled “Finn the human “ and it’s gonna be centered around farm world Finn
That’s a damn lie, the next 2 episodes are called Destity, and The Winter King. It’s on the official AT Wikipedia with synopsis as well

My theory is that Simon can't summon Golb because Golb doesn't exist anymore, but Betty and Golb created a brand new entity in come along with me. Both Betty and Golb at the time of this episode don't exist.
excited for your ep4 analysis
I feel like the truck with the apples foreshadows to them being transported to farm world given if I remember correctly a lot of the trucks were broken down
The squirrel's fruit cart lost a wheel in the episode, and fionna and cakes dreams in the credits are a reference to things that have happened in the episode but through the perspective of a "normal" world
im new to your channel and im so hooked and blown away by all the stuff i missed. im so excited for the video on episode 4!!!!
I was never interested in Adventure Time, but I love your recaps!
The Sausage knights did die, but they got wished back at the end of the episode. Really enjoyed this video btw. Keep it up!
Loving your content my fellow Ooo-lover. Idk what it means but I think it’s a nod to the truck from “We fixed a truck”
While falling, a cat spreads out its body to increase drag."
- The reason Cake took zero fall damage from that height
the car with the fallen wheel in the dream could represent the cart the squirrel was using since it also lost a wheel when cake bumped into him
i been waiting for this video to drop since the episode released
I feel like the broken truck dream references that truck Bmo, Finn, and Jake tried to fix.
19:56
The dude asks what the dream is about *while showing that the wagon full of apples loses a weel like the truck.*
I don't know if there's anything deeper to it, but you can see in the clip of the cart getting pushed over that one wheel comes off, like in the dream with the truck.
the truck is just supposed to represent the apple cart the squirrel is pulling. you can see the wheel fall off after Cake attacks him
When you look at the wagon carefully when cake jumps at it the wheel fell off
14:27 if I remember, I think finn wished for the ancient psychic war elephant and then made the elephant wish for jake and the hotdog peeps to be recovered I think
the blue truck is just linking the non magical world to the magical one, saying that the cart is the mirror image of the truck
Am I the only one who notices the purplish haze occluding the sides of the screen in the Cake market scenes and afterward? What is that? Whose eyes are we watching through? Check out time stamp 14:02 for example. Or 14:09
The truck with the apples makes sense bc the wheel carriage also had a wheel broken off in the same place
I'm led to believe Astrid is calling his bluff and made the connection between Simon and Ice King, as no one else likely has even mentioned Ice King to her aside from the novels in question.
All the sausage knights were wished back to life by the end of their episode. that's how they're alive.
The truck in the dream is the squirels thingy (forgot what its called) because when cake found the squirrel a wheel fell off.
*My Best Guess On The Apple Truck Dream At Then End of ep3:*
The apples represent the apples on the cart the Squirrel has, the missing wheel literally being the missing wheel that comes off the cart.
Found your channel a few weeks ago, so glad I did! 🔥
The cart the squirrel had has a missing wheel as well
I don't really understand why prismo is so upsrt about jake dying, prismo exists outside of time, so he can communicate with jake at any point in his personal timeline, from a narrative perspective it's good because he's like the only .ortal that prismo befriends, but I don't really get it from a lore perspective.
Yep, this makes no sense
The truck with the apples in fiona's dream might be Hot Daniel from the episode "We Fixed A Truck"
The green guy you were confused of reminded me of fern 😭 but that’s really it
The truck with the apples reminds me of the episode where they fix a truck with that banana guy. I think the episode is called "we fixed a truck"
That shot of Finn and Jake we saw probably was Finn when we was slightly younger (maybe in is early to mid 20s) and maybe before Obsidian.
i think the truck is either a callback to the episode when finn, jake, and that small bannana dude all built a truck. OR the truck and apples makes me think of the countryside, perhaps farmworld where we will see farmworld finn?
Honestly the truck kindof reminds me if the Truck that Banana Man pushes over to Finn and Jake's tree house.
14:10
the hotdog knights are alive because at the end of the episode “the limit” finn had the ANCIENT PSYCHIC TANDEM WAR ELEPHANT wish for everyone to be revived
The wheel of the little cart carrying the apple fell off too if you didn’t notice 19:58
The problem is that they never revealed the beam's origin and now they did
Idk why people are being so damn rude about something that never had an explanation and that, now, has one that's logical to the story we're following
Like, a wish master that watches everyone because it is part of his job hiding the pocket universe he made in the crazy senile man with the most powerful magic brain?
@@cescobb4647F
Should fire his manager tbh😂
@@cescobb4647 uggghh that's horrible. I'd always thought that Kumail enjoyed the role, which is why it seemed odd that he wouldn't come back, but this explains it. I hope he changes managers.
dont know if anyone said it yet but the mushroom guy with the mustache at the market is from the cards tournament episode, he plays the card Bean Ball Bomber.
Bro thanks for the video we really appreciate it
The way astrid knows about ice king: the book is literally signed by him
I'm 100% certain that the random stick guy was a reference to Bravest Warriors Dramabug short.
The F&J vs King Cockatrice could've easily been recorded footage rather than another universe. Finn's prosthetic is different.
Also the sound made from astrid's watch when she helps fiona locate cake is a reference to Ben 10's omnitrix
