Lol...yup this video can drive you crazy! This type of videos is not unusual for Min Hee Jin the CEO of Ador and creator of New Jeans who is working with V on this whole album. If you are familiar with their videos they all have this vibe of starting all nice and fun then having a deeper or even sad or strange story. This starts out looking like a fun outing at the beach until you start noticing odd things like they were all happily swimming with jelly fish. Then you see a picture of yeon tan on the side of the hill...then the Polaroid is your first...WTF! I think this is simply Tae creating a virtual world. All of the people are just simulations and he uses himself as the model. So essentially everyone on the trip is him. Later he starts getting sleepy...then the simulation ends and he is outside with yeon tan...and he takes a picture of him... what I’m wondering about is if all the videos are connected. Like love me again was in a cave but it had the TVs in there too. Same with rainy days...he also seem to be doing some tech stuff in that video. All the videos seem to show he is alone...if you accept the view that all the people in slow dancing was created by him. I think they will all connect somehow that’s why all the songs had a video.
The area on the hill that lit up is..... his dog. His dog can be seen earlier in this video as well... but it was not lit up. For lack of a better term.... I call some of what V symbolizes as " Future-Retro ". It has elements of the future and the past. For example he has old style CRT tv's in this video as well as in the " Love Me Again " video. The van in this video is similar to vans back in the 1980's that were called "conversion" vans. He has a unique ability to blend different time frames in a video. He also blends nature with technology quite nicely. V is an artist.... and his art is up for interpretation by the viewer. Your interpretation is neither right or wrong. Are you talking about movie Westworld ? But anyway about MV Slow Dancing yes you are correct V is Creator of his own world paradise peaceful place, So He is like peaceful joyful Creator God like in some what way in this MV.
This is a cyber space created by V. Friends are also existing only in Cyber world. That's why only V in the photo. The landscape is being crated when the car is driving along the road. You can see his dog, Yeontan's face on the mountain. The landscape miniature is in his room table, watermelon on the floor in his room too. He is adjusting devices to creat his cyber space for vacation. You can see his face is glowing with lights then he moves to the corner and starts dancing ,at the same time, he's dancing in the beach and the street. The ship is inside the box. The numbers of people on the ship are 7. he is reminiscing the time with ot7. In the end, even his dog disappears and he remains alone in real world This is my opinion about this great music video.

I wonder if he wrote the song while in that club dancing with seniors. =0] It's a sweet thought. I think i'll keep it. Liked Vs crown. It suits him. Giggles. Love seeing Yeontan represented too. Loved the spirits in this video felt it represented Vs sprite nature well. The fruit in the water is to eat. 0.o Yeah makes perfect sense u know its V. I like ur theory. U spotting that polaroid is so cool. Anitra missed that i think. Sounds pretty sound. Peter Pan and Neverland vibes with that pirate ship and that island. I think the concept of the mv has to do with the creative mind of how Tae imagines and thinks. For Tae, he combines the future and the past with technological devices when he is creating imagery of a world of fantasy to virtual reality that becomes reality. The ship can mean and represent that he is Peter Pan among his group of friends and enjoying the youthful innocence and tranquility in his world. His friends in the mv can also represent his members in BTS considering there are 6 of them he hangs out with throughout the music video. At the end of the mv when he is with Yeontan outside the building(Yeontan represents as army and is dear to him), Tae goes back inside to regular life knowing ARMY is always with him.
I think the movie you refer to is The Truman Show with Jim Carrey. Where the producer of the show Christof controls his whole life since birth only he has no idea of this.
I’m not sure if you’re implying that I myself watched other reactions before doing my own, but if that is what you’re saying I most definitely did not. My reactions are always authentic first time watches; And I always disclose if I have in fact heard a song before I’ve seen the video. It’s very obvious I was genuinely confused and missed very obvious things throughout the video. If I had “watched some reviews” I would have completely hit the nail on the head, which I clearly didn’t as I missed such basic clues throughout the video. It wasn’t very hard to figure out he was controlling some sort of world that other versions of himself were in 🤷🏼♀️
