If you read my comment, you will see that their reporting was false because they misconstrued his words (they twisted the meaning of his words) their reporting was based off an “anonymous source” and they claimed that WaPo has “independently verified the source’s claim” The report from WaPo came out first, followed two months later the Secretary of Georgia released the audio recording.
He didn’t demand them to “find me some ballots” instead, he was asking them “scrutinize” the ballots in Fulton county, Georgia.. you would find some “dishonesty” there. They also said he told her that she would be a national hero.. but, he didn’t. He said she had the most important job in the country right now.

The other parts were reworked into an infrastructure act which has helped a lot, though still not nearly enough, with improvements to our failing infrastructure. Some remaining parts became the inflation reduction act, which reduces our deficit, lowers drug prices, and invests in domestic energy production.
All in all, pretty good. It's really unfortunate how many cuts republicans demanded, which definitely reduced the positive impact. It's like they actively want to hurt people or something. But at least the democrats were able to negotiate a lot of good out of it despite republican efforts.

I think Trump wanted to be called the President, and enjoy all of the money making schemes he had planned, but didn't actually want to do the work of a President. He wanted the title but none of the responsibility.
I've also always thought he liked running for president, but not Presidenting, if you will. 😉 He loves having rallies, he loves being on a stage with thousands of people cheering for him, he loves getting up there and telling lie after lie after lie to make himself look good, but he didn't actually care about any of those people or he wouldn't have out them in that dangerous position. He just needed to get his fix, and if people had to get sick and die, that was a risk he was willing to take. 🤷🏼♀️
They found that over 2 months, 30,000 covid cases were traced back to Trump rallies, and over 700 of them died. Of course those people went back to their communities and continued to spread the virus even more, because the vast majority of them refused to wear masks.
I tend to get a bit worked up when it comes to Covid because I'm a nurse working on a COVID-19 unit for the past 8 months, so I've seen what that ignorance, recklessness, and irresponsibility can do. As predicted, our hospitalizations started to increase 2 weeks after he held a rally here, and the deaths followed that by about 3 weeks. I hate to think how many lives could have been spared if only Trump had taken it seriously from the beginning. We needed competent, selfless, straightforward, honest, and research/science driven leadership... unfortunately we had Trump the lying cheerleader instead, and tens of thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of our fellow Americans lost their lives as a result. I've seen more deaths over the last few months, than over my entire 20 year long career, and it's heartbreaking. Several people have called me a triggered snowflake for admitting that, as if it was some kind of insult, but I'm ok with those labels; we should all be triggered and saddened by the loss of a half of a million Americans to covid in just under a year. The worst part of it is that it didn't have to happen. Now, covid was always going to come here, and we were always going to lose a lot of lives, that was unavoidable...but it didn't have to last this long, and we didn't have to lose so many.

To all the attorneys and legal scholars you will notice he uses the phrase "I just want to find" which is not exactly the same as ordering directly someone to do something. This is why he will not be convicted on this indictment. It can be reasonably argued that he is telling his idea and state of mind but not going as far as ordering someone. Words matter. He will argue that it is a freedom of speech issue and he is voicing his legitimate concerns about fraudulence and his desire to find but not an overt order to an other official to go and find or carryout his order.
good luck with that argument in court.If the only route to conviction was to prove that the person directly ordered wrong doing, then few mafia bosses would ever be convicted. When the president makes the call and applies this kind of pressure, implying legal jeopardy if his demands are not met, he is effectively trying to pressure a government official to change the results of an official proceeding and that is a crime!
