  • Banded distraction or dynamic band stretching is a mobility technique that can often increase the benefits of stretching and improve range of motion. It is often use by physical therapists to improve joint range and lessen pain. Some of the ways it works are by:
    * Increasing joint space
    * Greater improvements in range of motion
    * Increase strength (during dynamic movements that require force production)
