dice should send you all the new weapons first ,you are the only youtuber who does proper spec guides .Then you can game test them because they often dont seem to have the time .
Everyone on internet saying this is trash, but with machined bolt and extended mag, this weapon is a budget SLR* with no recoil, 1 shot Headshot capability at close range, and double the capacity of any Recon SLR retaining a pretty high rate of fire. Seems like a bastard child between CS5 and VSS Vintorez. Fantastic addition
It is trash. Look at his gameplay, he missed almost all moving targets consistently because its a slow firing slow bullet velocity bolt action. Almost all the kills were unsuspecting static targets (and should know better than to stand still in BF5 for a long time) in midrange. At close range he was defaulting to his sidearm. It is objectively worse than any assault semi at mid range and it will be shredded to pieces in close range by anything else. This is more in line with recon SLRs like the Autoloading 8 or the recon Selbslader which have a much better damage model at range. So, bottom line, it sucks in close, mid or long range and not flexible enough to compensate for that. The fact that you can heal as a medic means you cant have a really good weapon in mid range, that would be OP - Dice says. Just imagine if they left Gewehr 43 with the medic, oh boy would that be lots of fun...

The only thing I analyze on this video is the mediocre leading skills of the player using it. IMO BF players got too much used to the lazers of BF1 and forgot how it was like to play with slower bullet speeds on BF4, especially with suppressed weapons like the CS5 or As-Val or any weapon with the suppressor attached for that matter. This carbine is gonna be very good in the right hands, trust me. 330m/s squad ftw

As someone who finds fun in flanking around people I think this'll do nicely, don't think people give the silencer enough credit. Kinda sad it can't be bundled with throwing knives and a spawn beacon though.

i have done "breakdowns" for most of the weapons. i have to admit, the earlier "breakdowns" are not up to par with my current standards and may have to re-do them. thank you for watching and subbing.
I think they should have all the weapons available from the start of their update. Maybe have moderate difficulty to unlock them, and have the really nice skins for the weekly challenge (add boins or the regular credit for the effort)
In all honesty I’m actually really excited to be able to use this gun I used it in the campaign and it was pretty cool, I also remember well I think I do using it in bf1 and I liked it. I just like the style and look and background story and sound of it lol it’s just so cool!!!!
Bit of a hit and miss gun for me. Had a few 50 kill games with it on conquest on PS4 but I’ve also had a few shocking games with it too. A lot of fun when you do manage to get going though
I feel like dice should make the extended mag standard, like they did with 1907sf because there's only a 4 round difference and replace that spec. Everyone who unlocks this weapon is gonna pick extended mags.

Slap a 6x on it, buff the headshot multiplier to make it 1 hit, and increase the velocity on this and you've basically become an unstoppable recon class
the thing is, everyone has their own preferences on what they like to use because it matches their play style. for me, i have found more success using RLLR with this weapon.
I don't have a way to get this to the bfv Easter egg community: it's parachuter skin has a map with a circle and arrows on its stock as well as a medalian on it's barrel. Parachuting in firestorm? Map on gun with parachuter name???? 🤔🤔🤔

the bullet velocity is only 330 meters per second, tied for the lowest bullet velocity for primary weapons. 1 shot headshot kill up to 30 meters, 2 body shot kill up 30 meters.
Can you help .with the 2nd gold assignment the commando please? Im getting the kills under 30m but they're not counting towards the assignment. Ive tried getting headshots also but no go. Do the kills have to be near 30m?

Tbh I didn’t see much objective play here. Maybe you just like distracted players so you can get kills? This is the same reason I hate snipers who sit outside of objectives shooting in. Go play tdm, the maps are bigger than the old team death match on other battlefields and you can care about kills all day long, since that’s the objective ya know.

i will be afraid when April 18 comes. most people will unlock it and use it. it's pretty quiet and the sound easily gets drowned out by gun fire.

the map on the stock is a cosmetic you can buy with company coin. the commando carbine has 5 unique cosmetics that no other weapon has.
