Quick tutorial for the numerical modeling of groundwater flow regime for an andean basin.
This tutorial have these main tasks:
Define a model extension by shapefile
Define active zone and inactive zone
Activate the solver and boundary conditions
Import a DEM (raster)
Assign 4 layers: 1 aluvial + 3 Fractured rock
Define the acuifer type and vertical discretization
Set the hydraulic parameters
Check the Modflow Time, check Steady/Transient
Assign the boundary conditions RCH, EVT, DRN
Run the model
Check the global water balancce
Import results
Water table on cross section

Thank you, Saul. Look forward to watching more videos.
Excellent work with these tutorials. They're very useful. Thank you.
Thank you for share these concepts through youtube .
Thank you fro posting so interesting videos
Hi Ryan. The discrepancies can be solved through:
- more iterations
- change the relaxation
- see que aquifer conditions
- read the list file
Hi Sir,
Amazing tutorial. Just wanted to know what solver you chose.
I didnt find the tutorial data on this link, Plz provide correct link of the data
I'm getting to know ModelMuse and this video has been awesome. Will you make more like this? And did you manage to sort out the discrepancies? I was following along and would like to finish it
Please how can I generate the Drain package that I will use in my model
HI in my aquiferboundry i couldnot find the hydrologyoption to make my basin cells active
is the latest version of modflow 2005 (MF2005_1.12) compatible with model muse?
Nice video, sir! I have a question.
Can I use this program to model and determine the groundwater exchange between a lake and a nearby aquifer?
The lake and aquifer undergo groundwater exchange (lake -> aquifer) and the aquifer undergoes significant withdrawal from industry.
Hi sir! Your tutorials are very useful.
I have one question: I'm using QGIS to generate a ASCII RASTER FILE from a raster file (.tif), but it's not working. The ModelMuse is not accepting the arquive. What i do?
hi Hatari, Could you please help with GSFLOW? I just didnt find any source where i can find the setup. I installed the model muse but i didnt have any idea how to combine and/or install this GSFLOW. Thanks for help :)
I am unable to download input files
?
Thank you sir i have one question about : how i can download infohatari and webminar files
hello, where can i find the shape file, angascancha_basin_extension, that you`re using.

@@jackiemdp Thank you bro, you have helped me too
Hi, Hatari! I don't know from where you get the ASCII raster file. I'm doing a research and my only problem is get this archive. All the other things I've alredy done.
Dear Mrs
.how i can download infohatari and webminar files
Can you provide a link of free trial version of MODFLOW, It would be a great help for me ..
what are the data need to show ground water model??
Do you know how to create that data? That's one of my problem especially the Rasta file. The purpose? why is it imported etc. Please if you have clues let me know Thanks. I can see your comment is recent
Hey,Thank you fro posting so interesting videos. I have been using Feflow but now need to switch to ModelMuse since its free. I want to simulate the impact of a confined aquifer located at 2 m below the ground susrface and is about 3 to 5 thick. Not sure if I can manage it with Modelmuse? I just have one and a half week to do it. It is possible to reach your email or skype?
+Imran Ali you can write me to saulmontoya@gidahatari.com
How can I download free trial version@MODFLOW..PLs can you provide any link..
Hello, Thank you so much for this very informative video about modelmuse, I just wanna ask you that if you can provide me this data in which you are showing tutorial, it would be a great help for me to practice model-muse. Thank you
Hope you understand
