    Grant Cardone: Okay so what's your favorite Ice Cream dude?
    Tai Lopez: Well let me put it to you this way. Um, not everbody likes ice cream. It was something the school system took away from me. You know back then, school systems wouldn't teach you about ice cream. So yeah I think for me the biggest thing is freedom. I was eating ice cream once and you know people always ask me, "what kind of animal do you wanna be?" and I always say I wanna be a bird. Because if there's something I don't like, I can just fly away. You know at the end of the day, knowledge.

      Great insight. It was very powerful when Tai said to do something that you don't necessarily love but something you're curious about. I've never heard that philosophy before.

    • @kikyoass

      John Goldstien that's why tai Lopez will always have way more followers than grant. He's more entertaining and less cocky and alpha male

    • @johngoldstien6937
      @johngoldstien6937 7 лет назад +19

      Answering questions like a politician means you don't give a direct answer and spin the question into something different that you would rather talk about. Lopez has more followers because hes in the social media business, Cardone has more money and property because hes in sales/ real estate. You may like Lopez's entertainment, but I value Cardone's experience more.

    • @kikyoass
      @kikyoass 7 лет назад +4

      John Goldstien I agree Cardone gives more practical advice and I appreciate that. Grant came into this interview just hard set on his views and he spend most of the time in every video trying to convince his audience that his way is the only way. Tai acts more like a Kardashian...but he often talks about principles, and reference quotes from successful people in every industry. Nothing wrong with either way

  • @DanBullmanPhotography

      Tai Lopez Hey Tai, I'm two wks into familiarizing myself with your outlook and teachings. I'm immediately recognizing the benefits of ((surrounding myself with more curious/bright individuals)) and respect the consistency of your character. From your bare upbringings, to the role your mentors had in shaping your course. I dig your spirit and frankness. Unquestionably the ability to be versatile is key I'm gathering. Up until yesterday, I had never heard of Grant. And can tell he is a wise dude simply by how he isn't too proud to ask for your advise on what he can do to enhance his reach. Despite being older then you. There is always new shit to learn. Anyway, great segment. PS: I agree with Grant, this interview was better than the one with Mark Cuban.

      That's why tai seems shady and unnatural. He just that type of dude. Grant had a strong personality that commands attention, very alpha dog like. Prob puts tai off cause he's higher energy

  • @Malolalo95
    @Malolalo95 7 лет назад +1

    I loved the advice Tai gave Grant at the end. When it comes to social media you don't necessarily have to be the most educational but the key is being entertaining. Depending on who you're trying to reach yes you have to be informative/educational but ultimately people want to be entertained. If you don't make your posts entertaining people won't remember it or want to follow/subscribe. People rarely remember what you said but the remember how you made them feel. And telling us to live an interesting life not necessarily for the purpose to get more followers, do it for yourself and at the same time it'll entertain and get you more followers. Helps sell the dream! Great work guys! Love you both🙏🏽

    If you look at both their body languages. You can see that throughout the entire talk, Tai Lopez pretty much hides his hands in his pockets all the time showing that he is hiding something. No matter how good of a speaker you are at dodging questions, body language says it all.
    Grant Cardone on the other hand has his hands in front of him all the time and showing it to the camera. This shows confidence, directness and nothing to hide .

    33:30 that’s crazy, that idea about who you hang with will change and motivate you to do better. I eat pretty healthy myself and when people get around me they might not eat healthy off the rip but they will at least acknowledge the fact that they are not eating the beef they could. It’s amazing

    Lopez you got it right.The number one solution to lazy, don't feel like, or I can't do it now without that is changing your inner circle. Your perspective change with the one you have around. Enjoying this interview.

    No disrespect G. Cardone, you're a Multimillionaire Real Estate guy, a great salesman, digital content social media guru, epic entrepreneur with lotsa money, inspiration for people buuut....
    Look here: aint trying to pit anybody against the other
    This interview was weird for Tai.
    Grant was just interrupting Tai everytime, almost trying to force Tai into his own (Grant) perspective on life,business and everything. Grant was selfish and narcissistic kind of competing with him. He even finally said all he cared about was 'himself'
    Bottom line !! Tai LOPEZ rocks, guy reads books and seeks Knowledge, humble, smart and very brilliant. You could see Tai getting fed up as Cardone shoots question after question even before he finishes answering like what the heck maan and then instead of respecting Tai's difference of opinion, you just call for a break or pop another question because you know the guy is knowledgeable and he's gonna destroy your outlook. As Tai warns, AVOID extreme ideologies, everybody is different. Both of you guys are Great at what you do but you became Successful very differently. Its not all about the Closing deal Grant, how about tomorrow. Like Cardone even pitched his Sales Calling Program when Tai was in the middle of answering a question from a viewer who bought Tai's program like c'mon Cardone...we love you maan but Tai is our mann too. No hate bruh I just had to put it out there whether someone sees it or not.

      Keith Scouble haha it was good. You have two D personalities it was pretty normal and awesome! trust me I've seen interviews with Tai he'll take over the Interview if you don't act that way. Grant just adjusted to his personality type

      Keith Scouble it was wierd to watch for a sec. how tai someyimes has long winded answers that sorta kinda or doesnt answers the question.

    • @greveeen
      @greveeen 7 лет назад +10

      Keith Scouble I felt like Grant was trying to call Tai out and see if he is for real or a phony. Many times he cut him of like "alright" and next to another question because Tai's answer was too vague and I saw it as grant saw it as bs answers. Tai had his hand in his pocket or crossing his arms over his torso the whole interview, this is a big sign of trying to hide something, being uncomfortable/uncertain.

    Tai Lopez: You talked about having enough money to buy your FREEDOM back and not have someone else control your time. I DESPERATELY want that for myself! I don't want to have to sell 40-50 hours a week of my time to someone else because I have bills and (almost) have to take what I can get. I want to build my business so I can help others scale up and help others that I'll never be able to reach. I want to be the guy that someone says, "Because of you, I didn't give up!"
