Hey, I got a recommendation! You should play Sifu! Sifu is a karate based game, the storyline I'm not too familiar, unfortunately. But every time you die you age up, which is bad, and there's bosses and like impossible achievements to do, in my opinion. Especially this achievement: You can't age up at all I came across this game by my husband. He couldn't even beat like the 1st level and heck the 3rd level, too!!! I recommend this if you're up to task, I wish you luck 🫡 (I'm on his account)
My first time fighting wesker I found out that if you stun him by shooting him in back you can grab him and your partner can do an insta-kill to wesker. I was stuck on the boss for hours
Pro tip for anyone who is looking to play the game themselves. You don't need to upgrade reload speed if you do this trick. When performing an action that gives you s such as a melee, you can open your inventory and drag the ammo onto your gun and it will reload it instantly. Just remember that if you want to be able to unlock the bonus infinite ammo for a gun you will need to upgrade it's reload speed to do so.
Man, that's rough, albeit it's worse when you're solo and had no way to play online, and no one next to ya to play with. Won't lie still had fun knifing Wesker to death on my very first RE 5 playthrough.
My friend and I got the platinum trophy for this game 5 years ago and enjoyed this game so much! We actually plan to Platinum the game again but this time for the PS5

Tip: The grenade launcher w/ flash rounds is op & don’t both carry guns using the same ammo =3 Also I think u can get a rotten egg in mercenaries and it counts towards the trophy, way more common there.
If your friend has professional difficulty unlocked, you could've just joined his game, backed out and boom, you have professional unlocked for you too

the funny thing about the Wesker final boss chapter is that you can kill him earlier before Chris and Sheva meet together in the center of the volcano. it just takes 16 or so rocket launchers 😅

@@unr8ted77 branching out and not following always the same route i would not say is automaticly bad. 4 is characterwise more a followup from 2. and 5 is more a followup from 1 and 3 and code v. its fine if you prefer whatever but 4 is not automaticly worse for that reason. at least not to propably most people. i like sheva jill and wesker and the rest of the villain cast in re5 but i dont like chris. in re4 leon and ada are also cool. its just preference. they are all main characters and are all part of one overarching storyline. also i would put 4 and 5 mostly in the same category as they both are far from what classic re was (1-2-3-codeV). 5 is just more blatant in the way it does it than 4 was(less puzzles, less moody darkness,more action). 4,5 and 6 follow the same intention just that it became less of a classic re experience with every new entry. and its fine if people prefer whatever, not everyone started as a child with re1. many started with 4 5 or sadly even 6. but lets not pretend that 4 did not made a cut in terms of how these games were and that this would cause many people to dislike what came with them. the only problem is see is that some are very uncivilised about it. nothing wrong with a discussion and opinions

People might not really like RE 5 and 6 compared to the other games but you can't deny they are some of the best co-op games out there. Some of my best memories are playing through RE5 with one of my best friends and then when RE6 came out I stayed the weekend at his house and we played through it too.
It was one of the first games I got for my xbox when I was younger, It was fun as hell to play it with my brother but the QTE really were impossible to us 😂

Hell I’ve never played or seen much of RE5 or anything resident evil lol. Only time I’ve actually seen anything about them is platinum videos like this. Even then short and doesn’t go into all the footage of actually playing. So even with the few vids I’ve never seen much of most of the games.
Usually, I don’t click on videos about games I haven’t played myself, but since I know about the effort (asking for feedback and then applying it to your videos), I gave it a shot and I wasn’t disappointed. This 40 minute video was entertaining from start to finish. I know it is a lot of work to edit a video like this and I hope, people appreciate it. I definitely do, Scott.
I’ve probably spent over 100 hours between multiple play throughs and the perfect mercenaries mode but I have NEVER seen that death animation at 6:00 until now 😂
Played the living hell out of this game with my brother as teenagers. Ended up playing through Pro difficulty pistols only a couple times. Tried melee only but couldn't manage a couple chapters so could only do that challenge on Veteran difficulty. Spent a ton of hours having fun with this game and still have a good time playing solo these days. Recommend picking this up if you have a friend to play with and haven't run through this one yet. It's on sale fairly often so I'd recommend waiting for a sale price
@@HopeyDiamondyou are not, if you shoot her before Wesker goes away, she gets killed, thus his ironic dialogue, the shot connected but it didn't at the same time, he was probably aiming at Wesker and the game kinda "turned off" friendly fire especifically for Jill in this moment, if YOU shoot her she takes damage , she even have a limping animation if her health is low warning the player that they are messing up, the device isn't even exposed, and after the 2 vs 2, it's still possible to remove the device without any guns, it just takes longer, but guns like magnum or shotguns will kill her since their bullets spreads. The game also doesn't let you go in attack mode against her only
This is gameplay and commentary gold! I knew from the thumbnail that this was gonna be something special and you did not disappoint. I'm sharing this with buddies for sure. I know people have mixed feelings on RE 5, I enjoyed it a lot. It has it's ups and downs, but I played through it with 5 different friends and we all had so much fun.

Resident evil 5 is one of my favorite resident evil games and the progress to 100% was super hard especially the professional difficulty and don't get me started on the DLC Desperate Escape on Professional that was a pain in the ass I died so many times I can't remember how many times I died. 50% of the deaths were from the final part of the DLC where you do a hold out point for 5-6 minutes and that felt like 5-6 years

Near the end when you were holding Jill and Chris started shooting her. He was actually trying to tell you how you're supposed to do that part. You're supposed to Shoot the little spider thing on her chest a bunch of times to weaken it first. Instead of just trying to spam grab it off.
5 and 6 were not good Resident Evil games but damn were they fun co op games if you had a friend around. I still look back fondly at staying up till 5 am with my friend shouting at each other and laughing our asses off playing these. Many silly moments.

I like to think that every time you complete Resident Evil 5, Chris keeps a severe amount of brain damage fron the last playthrough, as he is dumber the higher the difficulty goes

Late to the party, but regarding the stockpile achiev/trophy; you picked up a flash nade, which, according to your inventory screen a few seconds before, you didn't have. Not sure if someone else said this, but yeah, that's what popped it!
The platinum is fun until you get to the part where you're stuck in the jeep fighting the giant. Infinite rockets, and Infinite ammo of your choice weapon make profesional a breeze

The spider boss fight can be done quickly if you have 3 explosive grenades after stunning it you can reach near the mouth and press square to throw the grenade (you have to do it one at a time)
Honestly, it's my favorite RE which is SUPER unpopular. It's a bad Resident Evil game, but man... I had a lot of fun re-running it over and over and over as a kid. 3-1 Is THE best level in the game, so much cool shit and the tiny little villages. All the hidden stuff in the alligator waters. Dude. So good.
Also, the timing/sync for the quick-time events on co-op were such a mood. My (at the time) best friend and I both played Co-op like you did. That motorcycle event with the chains was a NIGHTMARE. So many retries even though we were literally playing splitscreen lol@@thegreyscott
Despite of the stupid AI, that somehow gets dumber with every consecutive playthrough, I've come to appreciate RE5 a bit more the RE4, I really like how every boss has some kind of special interaction. Steam version also has automatic QTEs.
i love resi 5 it was the first resident evil game that i played. its especially special to me since i played it with my mother the ndesu fight on prof took around 2 hours of tries it was hard as hell im glad yall had fun with the game. great video!

This game was so much fun for me. Like easily top 5 in the series fun. Even playing single player was fun. co-op made it better. All the side content was amazing and this version of Mercenaries was the best version.
in the steam pc version these quicktime events that are part of cutscenes can be autofinished by a setting. dont have to press anything and the scene goes on like if you had pressed it perfectly. you still have to do quicktime events for as an example avoiding weskers attacks in boss fights. and while you dont have to deal with these events on the pc version. the quicktime events you have to do on pc have somewhat weird buttons to press. A and D or F and V when playing with mouse and keyboard. also when using a mouse which has stupidly overdialled sensitivity settings ingame that have to be dealt with on driver/os settings to be manageable you dont have to aim with laserpointers but instead get a normal crosshair. aiming becomes stupidly easy on the pc version if dealt properly with the ingame sensitivity mouse settings. for anyone that wants to do these achievements and is uncertain whoch platform to play on. do pc with mouse if you can. also the game is very easy to run these days and that allows for playing with very high framerates.even 360hz monitors will get to have fun. (ingame benchmark average 400+ fps with a 3080ti @1440p max settings). game runs like butter on modern pc´s

5 and 6 were not good Resident Evil games but damn were they fun co op games if you had a friend around. I still look back fondly at staying up till 5 am with my friend shouting at each other and laughing our asses off playing these. Many silly moments.

I like to think that every time you complete Resident Evil 5, Chris keeps a severe amount of brain damage fron the last playthrough, as he is dumber the higher the difficulty goes

Late to the party, but regarding the stockpile achiev/trophy; you picked up a flash nade, which, according to your inventory screen a few seconds before, you didn't have. Not sure if someone else said this, but yeah, that's what popped it!
The platinum is fun until you get to the part where you're stuck in the jeep fighting the giant. Infinite rockets, and Infinite ammo of your choice weapon make profesional a breeze

The spider boss fight can be done quickly if you have 3 explosive grenades after stunning it you can reach near the mouth and press square to throw the grenade (you have to do it one at a time)
Honestly, it's my favorite RE which is SUPER unpopular. It's a bad Resident Evil game, but man... I had a lot of fun re-running it over and over and over as a kid. 3-1 Is THE best level in the game, so much cool shit and the tiny little villages. All the hidden stuff in the alligator waters. Dude. So good.

Also, the timing/sync for the quick-time events on co-op were such a mood. My (at the time) best friend and I both played Co-op like you did. That motorcycle event with the chains was a NIGHTMARE. So many retries even though we were literally playing splitscreen lol@@thegreyscott
Despite of the stupid AI, that somehow gets dumber with every consecutive playthrough, I've come to appreciate RE5 a bit more the RE4, I really like how every boss has some kind of special interaction. Steam version also has automatic QTEs.

i love resi 5 it was the first resident evil game that i played. its especially special to me since i played it with my mother the ndesu fight on prof took around 2 hours of tries it was hard as hell im glad yall had fun with the game. great video!

This game was so much fun for me. Like easily top 5 in the series fun. Even playing single player was fun. co-op made it better. All the side content was amazing and this version of Mercenaries was the best version.

RE5 may be a bad game alone, but bring a teammate instead of the dumb AI, its a whole different story.

in the steam pc version these quicktime events that are part of cutscenes can be autofinished by a setting. dont have to press anything and the scene goes on like if you had pressed it perfectly. you still have to do quicktime events for as an example avoiding weskers attacks in boss fights. and while you dont have to deal with these events on the pc version. the quicktime events you have to do on pc have somewhat weird buttons to press. A and D or F and V when playing with mouse and keyboard. also when using a mouse which has stupidly overdialled sensitivity settings ingame that have to be dealt with on driver/os settings to be manageable you dont have to aim with laserpointers but instead get a normal crosshair. aiming becomes stupidly easy on the pc version if dealt properly with the ingame sensitivity mouse settings. for anyone that wants to do these achievements and is uncertain whoch platform to play on. do pc with mouse if you can. also the game is very easy to run these days and that allows for playing with very high framerates.even 360hz monitors will get to have fun. (ingame benchmark average 400+ fps with a 3080ti @1440p max settings). game runs like butter on modern pc´s
The intro was great as someone who has just played the newer RE Engine RE games finally experiencing what a good RE game is like.
