I had this surgery and I could not be more happier ( I’m 14 btw) remember, the surgeon will numb you up and i will admit I was shaking in fear that I would feel something but I felt NOTHING. I slept throughout the whole procedure 😂 once again, I really recommend it.
how long did it take for your tooth to come down ?
I had this surgery a month ago …and in a month my canine is almost out..this is the second month ..hope so it comes soon…will update soon about my journey .
Update : my tooth came out within 3 months and brackets will be removed by next month .… finally this thing is over …

@@notme-cw3rj nope..it was already gone …but due to my age it was not coming out ..I am 24 …so had to do surgery (canine exposure )..just few months left to complete the treatment…

@@rabiasultana3605 don’t worry …you will feeling nothing at the time of surgery except the anesthesia …because when they inject …it pains a little ..rest all will go well
@@rabiasultana3605 take the medications as said ..and wait for few months (3 months approx ) …your canine will be completely out

yes they do the orthodontist usually puts a bracket on later to help guide it to where it's supposed to be

Simply My doctor surgically removed that tooth and align remainings.. now my tooth middle line is collapsed... Thankyou doctor

better to go for the close method..... lot of damage to the mucosa..... better to elevate a flap and do.

Does this happen often? My 14 years old son will have it done, but the orthodontist told us that he'll put the braces on and wait for about 8 months to do the surgery.
I’m here watching videos because my sons canines never came down. The orthodontist has been waiting about a year but he says it’s taking too long. I’m such a nervous wreak. Some videos look scary but this one doesn’t look as scary
@@dianaluna3580 So my comment was a year ago. My son had the surgery done with Dr. Alber Haddad and it went great. He got soar and could not eat solid foods for few days but wasn't too bad like we thought. He's been wearing the braces ever since, now his canines came down, everything is looking good
I have to get mine done sometime this month along with 4 wisdom teeth being removed😫 wish me luck!
Meshia, don't worry...All will go okay :-) My daughter just had this procedure done along with her wisdom teeth extraction. You will be fine. Just follow the instructions of the oral surgeon very carefully. My daughter is 1 week post op and doing fantastic. She's able to eat most anything and she's back to playing her flute for Marching Band. Good luck to you!

Funny Biz just a local anaesthesia is used .
@@AmrAskerOrthodontics is there any way to get general anesthesia? I feel like my anxiety would be too much for me to handle the procedure with just a local anesthetic.

no it'll be fine I had to have all of my canines forced out if you're awake it won't hurt if they numb you well it'll just smell really bad
