- I recently visited Lydden Hill Race circuit in Kent, UK and whilst there I managed to get up close and personal with some of the best and most famous rally icons.
I am a huge fan of motorsport and one of my favourite rally cars of all time is the Lancia delta integrale.
I have featured RC cars on my channel with body shells that replicate the iconic rally car but have always craved something larger and more capable.
I searched around for a 1/8 scale RTR Replica but there doesn’t seem to be anything available of its kind.
I almost gave up until I stumbled upon the delta plastik Lancia Delta inspired body which was made for 1/8 on road RC Cars.
I found the perfect candidate to fit this to and it was my Hobao Hyper GT Rally car!
The body took quite a bit of time and effort but I think the end result is worth it.
I also made some other changes to the Hobao to make it even better including a better ESC, Pinion Gear, Gyro and a set of awesome GRP on road wheels/tires.

Pretty sick bro! She's cookin' on 6S! I'm looking at new chassis options for my current electronics setup. Thinking of getting a TT02 or Fazer chassis and slapping the Lancia body on there if the Phantom Racer truck shell doesn't fit. Wheelbase is 235mm so it might be too small.

I did a "Killer" Lancia Delta Rallye! 1/10 build with a Kyosho Fazer MK2 and their Rallye! conversion kit and proper wheels & tires. Now I have a plan for that big body on a spare Tekno SCT410. 👍🏼
Great Vid, i'm a big fan of Lancia delta. Try that body on your Hobao 10SC. I managed to fit 1/8 Proline ford focus body on it it covers front and rear bumper nicely inside the body. thanks for sharing 👍

I really don't care what either of you think... I came and subscribed to this channel and his cause I like the content. I also like seeing the content and not banter between to different creative people. Im not saying you can't speak your mind but maybe speak it to the person you have a problem with instead of bringing people that don't care into it. I love this channel and his but if it's gunna turn into a pissing match between to grown men then I'll just watch something else. People feed off of negativity so please don't start negativity where it shouldn't be. Love the car otherwise super creative and fast.
Problem is that person is far from approachable and any attempt to reach out are ignored. I never rant on videos but when left with no choice 🤷🏻

What do you think of this 1/8 beast? I'm glad we managed to get way more performance out of this with the better ESC, Pinion and 6s Battery! Its now incredibly fun! Apologies for the rant but sometimes its important to speak your mind. RUclips is a place where we can all be individual and do things our way. I'm not a fan of arrogance or the typical smart ass. We are grown men playing with toy cars and in my mind we are all equal there is no superiority regardless of channel size we all started at 0 and worked our way up to where we are today. *I knew this video would be highly controversial and some people are still missing the point. plain and simple it’s this: people can do as they please on their channel. No other channel out their has the right to bring other channels down and yes i know it wasn't directly aimed at me. I am simply the one making a stand and responding. We all work consistently hard to bring content to viewers and I speak for all channels that are guilty of the gps start/stop thing. We are free to make vids the way we want to. We won’t change because one channel has said it’s annoying after a single comment who is also guilty of it himself for many years. I like Phil's channel, and I like your channel, and I like many other RC channels. Just like so many other subjects, this is a highly competitive commercial environment. You are all trying to maximise your views and make money by getting people to watch you. Just like other commercial ventures, there will be elements of 'product differentiation' at play, where each of you will try and offer what you feel is best to get people to watch you and spend less time on other channels. That's the reality of it.
Did Phil need to add his little quip? No. He could have just said "You guys only want to know what the speed is so you don't need to hear me saying start and stop and stuff".
But you do sound a bit oversensitive to this. Clearly from looking at the comments here some people feel that your rant was a bit of an over reaction. As you've said, it's your right to say what you said, but I hope for your sake people don't unsubsribe. We all have a limited window of time to ingest RUclips content, and there is always an overwhelming choice of content available. It doesn't take much for someone to say "oh frig this. I didn't come here to watch tit for tat squables".
Hopefully you take this feedback with the good spirit that's intended 👍

I got a Delta plast body for my homemade 1/8 rally car, i got the 306, the end result is pretty good (for me) but the body was not up to the quality i expected, it had a fold in one corner, and the thickness was uneven. Thanks.

I don't know who you're speaking of I think I have an idea is there the letter "T" in the name? Im across the proverbial pond, New York State anyway my point is if the letter T and it is the channel That I'm thinking of he's definitely become different I've noticed in about a year and a half some of his comments are arrogant to people and the way that he started bashing on some of the Traxxas vehicles really got under my skin, simply because he might not realize that there are younger viewers who only have certain kind of vehicles it just bothered me. I used to be a huge fan but not any more i unsubbed a few months ago after similar stuff/comments being made about things that dont concern him. Yes exactly I have seen certain comments which are kind of off putting and its the arrogance that is portrayed that is the biggest thing for me. @@beyondRC absolutely we are definitely on same page. Kinda crazy to actually see someone else noticing the arrogance that has become more common. All I did was make a comment and 9 times out of 10 I always add the phrase "in my opinion " and I still got a rather rude comment...kind of caught me of gaurd with his "reply" didn't like the way mr. T🤣 talked down to me was really on the characteristic Sans how I've commented on hundreds of videos and he always was pleasant I had a few conversations about is trx4 that he painted red but ended up being pink I've made hundreds of comments since then but it wasn't until the beginning of this summer something changed all right enough for my rambling🤣😅

Talking about that, I had other expectations for this video, after all this is just a slow but nice to drive second hand rc street car with a new rally body, as you said.. its ok offroad, but.. not a rally car, like ( hpi wr8 flux ).
So I would like to see you do an actual build, with new parts, or cars that you have around, and build us an actual rally car.
I have bought a me4 off road, and mjx hyper go 14301 ( not the lancia, because it is not actually a rally car), and when I rip these two enough I will be doing a Frankenstein rally car out of this two.. I need your help and knowledge.

I think you are taking what I personally perceived as a light hearted comment, a bit far tbh ,just my opinion.
and of course you are entitled to it. But saying another channel is annoying for doing things their way is unacceptable in my book. In the 3 years i have ran my channel i have never commented on how another channel makes their videos. Having a larger channel than a lot of us does not mean you can start criticizing people. youtube is hard enough. Each to their own. I am entitled to speak my piece as everyone else is. fuck that comment. I remember it and wondered who it was aimed at. I watch 5 main youtubers and they all have their individual qualities. I am new to RC interests as a hobby I want to get into. Some cars are insanely expensive. but as you probably know, once bitten by the RC bug eventually the car collection grows. whether winning competitions, or races with financial prize funds. maybe it's just saving that will get me this £600 RC car I really want. but first I need to start simple.
I need to walk before I crawl, but I am an adrenaline junky. I skateboarded fast, hard and big. i rode downhill mountain bike fast and agressive with no practice sessions on my runs. I would go down this steep forested river bank in Vernon Park with no fence at the rivers edge. Only once did my bike and me nearly end up in the fast flowing river, leaping off and saving my bike in the final moments only the back end got dipped in as my heart pounded. I used to ride down there because I needed to overcome fear and learn bike control and handling on a variety of surface conditions. instead of counting to 3 or 10 then go, I developed a technique that only counted to 1 & THEN GO! i'd chuck myself down avoiding trees, fallen branches, mad bumps and insane jumps all at an angle of about 40-55* degrees.
When a young teen and with the wrong crowd joyriding was our thing, 80mph even 120mph up average streets and main roads. handbrake turns 360 spins, police chases and even scary crashes.
When i got older and bought my first bike it was a Vespa PX125. Speed bumps and speed limits everywhere had just been introduced a couple of years earlier.but I just can't stand going slow unless I was driving in the countryside and wanted to look at the views as I drove along, then i would slow to 30-40mph. Otherwise I rode everywhere at 50-60 mph. A 1% biker life on a frickin scooter FFS. Burn Rubber not your Soul!!
I can't afford to get on the road legally this moment in time, and due to physical injury that left me disabled I no longer can skate or mountain bike. I ride my ladies shopper cycle like a maniac and need another kind of thrill and release less dangerous than other options.
I started looking at RC cars, what a brilliant idea. Then google doing it's "spying and listening to all my thoughts and actions" (tin foil hat job lol) as it's linked to youtube and mobile phone actions, I started seeing RC channels pop up on RUclips. How AWESOME.
That commenting person you speak of was the first channel I found, love he channel but I am not about that kind of RC fun (it surely must be expensive breaking cars on skateparks so defo not me lol!)
i found the nice chap who served in the armed forces at the same time i found your channel BEYOND RC. and as I say each of you do reviews and videos that have taught me so much. Especially the speed tests that are so IMPORTANT in my research.
So I need those stop and read the MPH reports no matter how it's done. I thought that comment must be aimed at you or soldier man. I was also confused as to why the sly dig occurred since no other channel has took a sly dig at him.
In his words "it doesn't matter what you drive or what style of driving as long as YOU are having fun!", there is enough negative comments wrote on other videos i have interests in watching. If I have a negative opinion to share about a YT video I always remain constructive which I am about to do on some hot wheels collectors channel who portrays he's a collector when clearly he's all about treasure hunts, super treasure hunts and chasers. Buying purely to flip cars and make money while blatantly lying after buying a number of the same car. as he goes through the pegs he twists up and bends the cards on shelves, when going in the boxes he chucks the car packs all over with no respect for other people who REALLY COLLECT Hot Wheels cars. As a collector myself I want my card to be mint condition. He is ruining it for other collectors in his hunt for riches. and bad mouths other videos..
Anyway, I am glad you take that sly comment with a pinch of salt. AS my brand name says Artist With Dharma, thats because I live by Buddha's philosophy to not let things grind you down and suffer in your mind from other peoples actions, however, if it continues to play on your mind after contemplation. then the buddha's teachings advises us to voice our opinion with intentions to change a situation for the better.
So apologies for the lengthy comment, I am autistic and ADHD so tend to write quite a lot to share my thoughts.
What I do hope is that the words I speak are noticed by others to realise hat every different RC channel has individual qualities for all kind sof people with learning taken from everyones videos.

Yep, body is pretty crap.. It is not even close to delta integrale.. It is shame that there is no 1:8 scale as good as 1:10 scale killerbody lancia..
agreed. the best i could find unfortunately and its shame as its an incredibly iconic car. Come on someone make a RTR 1/8 Lancia!!
