Hi, Thanks!! for all the nice surgical tips. I am a surgical nurse and can scrub /circulate. I want to scrub cardiovascular cases and will appreciate if you can make/share videos /notes on scrubing cardiac cases. Please let me know if there are any references online. Thanks!!

Hi, I am currently in a Surgical tech program right now in Georgia. I have searched all over RUclips to find videos related to ST and I came across yours. I love watching your videos! I will be done with CST school in December & I plan to get my FA a year or two after. Thank you for posting such informative videos! Can you post some about how to prepare for the CST certification? I take mine in December!

Hi! Due to this pandemic, I'm having a difficult time teaching my students about medications in the OR (they can't get hands on and I am teaching from home). It would be beneficial for them to see different syringes, hypos, and basic drug calculations and labeling. We would very much appreciate a quick video about medications, how to receive them, calculate and mix them, label them, etc. as a surgical tech. All we can find are videos for nursing students. Would you be able to do something like that? Thank you so much!

Your videos have been so helpful in discovering this profession that I am completely new to. I have interest in the medical field and I've watched your pro's and con's and many helpful videos from you! Thank you for posting them. My main question that is lingering in my head, if you already did a video about this, I apologize, I haven't seen it. But if you haven't done a video yet, could you define the difference of a surgical assistant and a surgical tech? I'm on the fence here.

+miriam reynoso the study guide prepares you for answering questions similar to the test, it won't give you the answers. Go to your text books and notes from class and grind HARD.

I'm really thinking about becoming a ST. My wife works in toxicology and she told me I would be perfect at the job. How much does school start?

Daniel Reed I’ve found surgical tech schools for around 5,000 for a year program to earn your degree. That’s in rural TN at a technical school though!

Is this a job where you get to talk with patients/people and use social skills? Wondering if sonography or radiology might be better for social butterflies, but surgical techs work as a team and that is very essential for me. Thoughts?
