    Do bdrs only get paid commission if the deal goes through with the account exec or to bdrs still get paid commission just for simply setting up the meeting with the account exec?

    • @TechBagTrey
      @TechBagTrey  6 месяцев назад

      You will have your base as a BDR, the commission structure depends on the company.
      Some you will get paid an amount for ‘meetings set’ then another amount once they close.

      @@TechBagTrey do you have a rough range in $ amount if I set up a meeting but the deal does not go through? Just looking for a rough range , I know it of course depends on industry , etc.

      @user-fo2cc7xx4y Yes it depends on the company. But possibly somewhere between $15-$25 per meeting set.

    I have 3 years experience in insurance sales. I want to switch to tech sales. What's your expert opinion?

      Update your resume with your sales experience and tailor it for tech sales.
      Update your LinkedIn profile.
      And apply to companies in the industries that you’ve worked in before.
      Do the sales role to get the job (outreach and follow up with the recruiters and upper management in the sales dept.

    Is this a career I can get into without doing course careers?

    • @TechBagTrey
      @TechBagTrey  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Liz,
      Most definitely, you can find most of the things you need to get in the industry/career without a bootcamp.
      The real thing is how much time it will take to find all the different things and piece them together. Course careers gives you the necessary sales info in one spot along with resume, LinkedIn, and job help.
