Silent watcher here, but Jess, please NEVER stop talking about makeup. I literally ALWAYS love your recommendations, everything I've bought because of you is on my top shelf. You know what you're doing so if slowing down makeup content makes you happy that's great but don't get rid of it all together please please please 💜
I miss makeup tutorial videos. Not only are they like watching live art, they always gave me inspiration to try something out of my everyday boring comfort zone or gave me ideas on ways to use products I already had in different ways.
Please please don’t stop making makeup videos. I love all your content, but you are the one person who I trust when it comes to recommendations. I have discovered so many amazing products because of you. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas 💕
I love any and all makeup content, whatever you got! I love shop my stash type content too. One thing i occasionally do is at the start of the week, I pick 3-5 things from my makeup drawers I rarely use but do like, and set them out where I’ll see them so I will use them that week. That might be a fun germ of an idea for a video maybe?
I love your content, whether it be makeup, grocery hauls, vlogs..etc. I’m even happy just watching coffee chats with you using the same makeup over and over again.
I appreciate the conscious consumerism mindset that I hear from this and from some other creators lately! I find makeup videos in general very relaxing and de-stressing, but I find stop my stash and tag-style videos, just as compelling, if not more so, then the ones about new products.😊
I still love watching makeup videos, a good grwm and makeup hauls are my faves. Funny enough I rarely wear makeup myself, I just enjoy those kinds of videos.
Me too. I would have to wake up an hour and a half earlier to wear makeup properly to work lol. I just can’t but I love makeup and makeup videos lol. Idk why.
One of the things that I really like about you is that you give honest reviews, good or bad. Too many influencers don't give honest reviews and "love" everything. I prefer honest reviews and that helps me buy products that are worth my money.
You look absolutely gorgeous ❤ I have watched your videos for 9 years, and you have blossomed. I would love a video about your health/beauty "secrets" that have improved your life, mind, and body. You look healthy and glowing.
Jess- To be honest, you are the only OG beauty guru that I still watch. I still love makeup, but now I just have so many more priorities and interests in my life. I have always/will always watch you because you are always honest and genuine (and because I’m also from Indiana- I feel like we’re friends haha) Thanks for continuing to be true to yourself and loop us into the conversation- it shows how much you respect your audience!
I still love makeup videos and have several content creators I follow all the time. But you are right makeup has a shelf life and we all have too much most likely. Buy what you like and review it for us 😊
Jess, I enjoy watching the variety in your videos. The Estee Lauder skin tint looks nice on you, it evens out your skin and provides a fresh appearance without looking overdone. Do not put pressure on yourself to declutter a certain amount, or to maintain a certain number of products for your channel. I personally have decluttered makeup and skincare (both affordable and high end) that I regretted a month or two later, and kept products because others told me they were great. We all fall into that trap at some point and not only makeup. There is nothing wrong with PR in your profession, realistically most people want to know if the latest products are as good or bad as others have stated. It saves the viewers time and money. You alone are the only one that can make the determination as to what brands or amount you are willing to accept. If you truly enjoy a product then keep it and if you do not let it go. Focus less on the number and more on the enjoyment, I appreciate it when influencers/you tubers use the same products repeatedly either because that is what they enjoy or they feel works well for them. For reference I am 60 years old and you are a breath of fresh air. You are honest, personable and can laugh at yourself. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the Braun Family.
I really don’t watch makeup videos like back in-the day. I am around your age and also a mom and although I absolutely love makeup I am focused on other things. You are the only one I watch with makeup related content and I understand 100% what it is you are trying to say. As your internet bestie, thanks for keeping it real.
For me now in my life, I don't care what you're putting on your face while you're talking to us. BUT I do find any skin care/makeup routine relaxing while i'm listening. Doesn't matter if I've seen the same thing 10 times.
I love watching everyday makeup bags. What is your favourite items and just keep replacing with your ultimate makeup products. But I love anything you film for us to watch. Like getting ready with a friend.
I SO SO appreciate that you dont get PR. So many influencers are out of touch with how much the products they talk about cost!! I feel like you are not that way, becuase you spend your own hard earned money on everything you talk about. Thanks for keeping it real for us Jessie!
Love makeup content AND love seeing someone that actually uses a smaller collection. Thanks for keeping it real. I’m looking forward to your 2025 videos!
Would you ever consider doing declutters of non-makeup items? I absolutely LOVE your makeup declutters but totally understand that you're in a different stage of life now. It would be amazing and so inspiring to see you declutter other things around the home, e.g., kids' toys, household products, clothes, etc. Lots of love from a nearly decade-long subscriber!!
I always love seeing your face on my screen, I put your videos on a lot when I can’t sleep and your voice calms the anxiety. I don’t have the money or time/desire for make up anymore in my own life, it just doesn’t resonate anymore. I have a blush, a mascara and a few fav lip products and that’s really all I wear anymore. I don’t even have concealer or foundation! I’m really living for your lifestyle, coffee chats and real talk stuff, as well as your travels on Tyler’s channel.
I decluttered most of my makeup recently. I gave it all to my housekeeper. She shared it with her daughters and sisters. They were all thrilled. So fun. Thanks for another great video. Tami.
Jessica I love your makeup videos and just the way you keep it real that as a older woman (57) can still wear and apply makeup to make us still feel beautiful but not overly done. Keep up the great content, we’re all here for you. Love from Australia
Honestly don't really care much about makeup focused videos anymore. I'll put the ones from my favorite youtubers on in the background to support but don't really care much about all the new products anymore. I like your coffee chats with getting ready involved or vlogs with a little makeup portion or a cpuple new products you're loving. I've completely unsubscribed to most purely makeup channels. So glad you've moved to more vlogs over the past several years!
I also watch every single video she posts, but I’m in the same boat. I love makeup and always want to know what she’s wearing and still highly value her opinion, but it’s sort of nice to feel like I get to go through life and motherhood with a RUclipsr on the Internet who states away from me.
I've watched RUclips forever, and I have to say, the last few years, it's changed ALOT, especially content wise. I love that, branching out from makeup and just being real-life too.😊
I loved this video and I understand it in the way you meant it. I think you should just keep doing the videos that you’ve been doing the past few months. They’re so good and makeup RUclips has evolved. Love your vlogs, your “Jessie” day videos, any clothing hauls and your speed reviews are fantastic. Declutter all that makeup! I think that it will inspire me to do the same. Clutter breeds clutter! I truly love how real you are. It’s a special gift that lots don’t have! ❤❤
Jessica, ❤ I love to watch any & all of your videos but please, please, please do not ever stop makeup videos, especially the GRWM’s, they are my favorite!!! ❤ Merry Christmas 🎄Sent with luv🙏🏻💕💕💕
i’ve really been enjoying haute mess tom’s series “critical sass” and hannah louise poston’s “new makeup hot takes” because it’s an outlet to discuss new makeup releases without promoting overspending on those items
I am 65, and I feel I have changed a ton through time. So I completely understand that. I am sad because I have had some of my favorite creators leave the beauty space for fashion or some other thing that I'm just not interested in. I love your content, Jessica. All of it. However, I do still love beauty. I will follow your journey and see where it goes. ❤ God bless
Hey Miss Jessica, I have not known what to post to this one. I am old enough to be your mother, but enjoy watching you for your refreshing take on makeup products, new products, all the things. You are my daughter's age and I get a sneak peek into that generation even further by watching you and Tyler and your precious family. As a professed makeup junkie and hoarder of all things make up and skincare, I would hate it if you discontinued your makeup reviews. I love the mix you have going on right now on your channel. Little bit of vlogs, cooking content, family content, book reviews, and yes the makeup. Because it is the one constant that has held your viewership for all these years, I feel like it would be throwing the baby out with the bath water to discontinue. Many of your followers value your opinion and makeup reviews very highly. I personally think it's a side step away from what has brought many of us to you. Enough said on that and I will continue to watch. Just think carefully before you would discontinue something that congels your station and has done so for over 12 years now. God bless you beautiful girl.❤
I don’t care much about makeup but I love watching my your videos. I don’t think you are ungrateful at all- but I’m also very minimal and I am very intentional about everything that comes into my home and we declutter all the time to keep our home minimal. Can’t wait to watch your declutter video!
I still love the amount of makeup videos you do. They’re Simple and it’s not like every other person doing the same PR video, it was over whelming and everyone was “obsessed” with the new product, if that makes sense. I also love that you’ll just put a “do not want bin” for the end of the month or every quarter of things that don’t work. Great idea. Just like you would do a empties bin. You’re my fav so I’m here for it all!
Listening to your reason why you’re making that decision was so refreshing and so smart! You’re switching from trying everything that comes to you just because, to actually looking into if you WANT to try it, which is how regular people make their purchases. I love it! And I do watch makeup videos. I put on this video because I was going to do my makeup as well and I love listening to it and watching it.
I totally support your choice about how you feel toward your makeup. It’s a good reminder also to use what you have and not just buy the most popular product. ❤
I started watching you in high school when I was obsessed with makeup. Now I’m 25 and still here! You’re the only makeup RUclipsr I still watch. I watch pretty much only lifestyle now.
I'm very excited by this new direction. Being shown so many products by so many people so frequently is overwhelming. I rather have the occasional, curated makeup review/haul with follow ups on those products.
I just love you. I’ve been watching you since the beginning, Jessica. Through many different situations and seasons of my life. Sometimes I’m like, “Man! I wish we were friends.” 💖 You are wonderful, and someone I never tire of. Just wanted to pop on here and say that.
I appreciate hearing your thoughts on your personal evolution and on your channel. I’ve watched your channel for almost 10 years, and appreciate watching your growth. I do hope you don’t completely change your original content (eg. Makeup reviews, testing new makeup, dupes, etc). I love the vlogs, and other content, but I enjoy the makeup videos. I hear you saying you’re not completely walking away from it, but I feel you are on the precipice, and it kind of makes me sad. No matter what, you need to do whatever brings you joy. Best of luck and Merry Christmas!
I love make up videos but personally I was buying all kinds of make up trying to find the “perfect” everything but lately I think I’m with you… I know what I like and works and I’m trying to buy more intentionally not trying every new thing that I know won’t work on me.
This video made me want to declutter my own collection (mind you I don't really have MUCH) but the way you explained owning and keeping just the ones I really love and use -- that hit HARD. Like, I have a ton of lippies and I know I only use the same few. I used to consume a ton of makeup related content that would just make me purchase more and more and more and I end up with a ton of makeup I don't really use. Right now I still do love watching makeup videos, but you're absolutely right -- just like other people, I've evolved in terms of the type of makeup videos that I now choose to watch (I no longer watch them all) because I KNOW WHAT I WANT! I will definitely be watching your final, big reveal, declutter video -- while decluttering my own mini collection. Thanks Jess. Much love as always ❤
This topic and the way you delivered it was just fine! Nothing at all wrong with what you said and I think you are probably feeling the way you feel because you know its time for a little shift. Hopefully, we all grow and change in positive ways. I will be here for it!
I really appreciate what you’re saying in this video! To be honest, as much as I love beauty context, it’s getting a bit frustrating to see everything just be the latest product reviews. It’s like, what do you actually like and recommend?? Hopefully we’ll see a shift away from this. Thanks for being so realistic!
You are the first channel I subscribed to in 2018. I’m still watching no matter how little makeup content you post. I’m so glad to hear you and others say this, it really has gotten to be too much. I have purchased so many things based on influencers that I have wasted my money on and ended up with stuff everywhere. I still need recommendations and will watch makeup videos from time to time, but in my 40’s I’m finding things that work for me and just stick with them.
Jessica, that was a great video! I really loved your candid view about starting a RUclips channel. The clothes from express looks so cute on you! Great job.
Hey Jess! I still absolutely love makeup videos and watch them all the time, but I definitely gravitate to videos about older products. I think it's a great idea to be thoughtful about what you keep and bring into your collection 😊 Just a few thoughts about some possible video ideas with products already in your collection: shop my stash/full face of nothing new, recreating makeup looks with products you already own, updated reviews on older products, revisiting old favorites to see if they are as great as you remember, products you love to use during a specific season or time of the year 💜
I am proud of you for switching to wanting less "stuff". I am sure it's hard since that's how you have been doing it for years, but I think it's good for your mental health and for the environment!!
I found you through your “hospital bag” episodes 😂 As a first time mom it was so helpful! Then I fell in love with your makeup reviews and vlogs. Also book lover so I enjoy hearing recommendations.
I really appreciate your makeup reviews. I trust your opinions more than pretty much anyone else I follow in this space. For lack of a better term, I am BROKE! Lol so it’s really nice I can come here and check your reviews on something before trying it so I am never wasting my money. There are just sooooo many products out there between makeup, skincare, haircare, beauty, wellness etc. So, it’s great to have you basically filtering through all of that for us! ❤
I mostly watch GRWM type makeup videos like this. More chatty/vlog style is my go to. I have select youtubers i watch for tutorials/inspiration, but watching less on New makeup/decluttering/swatching etc.
I still love makeup videos. I find them calming and relaxing, and I watch while doing my own makeup. I hope you don’t move too far away from the arena, but I can also understand scaling back. I just want it to stay in some degree, you know? That’s why I watch.
When I was working, I wore makeup every day (very amaturely applied). After retiring, I would still wear makeup when leaving the house, but then COVID arrived. I most recently started wearing makeup again, and I am learning a lot from your videos and those of other's. You are one of my favorites to watch, even though you are much younger than me.
You are my number one favorite RUclipsr, and I started watching you because of makeup but stayed for your personality. ❤ I actually still watch mainly makeup videos but I now watch vlogs because of you. I currently love watching your vlogmas while i nursing. Thanks for keeping me company with my newborn in the wee hours. I don't comment much but I'm always here watching all of your videos. My husband even knows you by name! Thank you for sharing your life and funny, sweet self with the world. You're a gem, no matter what content you're posting.
I love makeup and skincare content! I want you to keep making it for sure! I love empties because you get a full out, real review of the product. Maybe you should consider a project pan for 2025 or something similar like a monthly shop my stash to use what you have. You also need to do about video where Tyler picks your makeup for a get ready with me style video. That was a fun watch! Or maybe Gigi could choose the makeup! ♥️
Happy you’re staying true to how you feel, and continuing to grow & adapt. I still enjoy makeup videos and grwm’s…but my fave videos of yours are when you talk about real life things (maybe over a grwm coffee chat haha). You have a refreshing way of being real, genuine and sincere 💕
I originally found your channel from your declutters back when you were still teaching! I watch makeup videos for the commentary instead of the makeup since I already have my favorites, and everything fits in a travel bag. It’s the perfect time to do a declutter going into the new year and if you film another clothing declutter after the makeup series i would love that!
Jess, I love the try on!!! Such cute pieces on you! Also love your makeup declutters. They speak to me and have me re-evaluating my shopping habits/purchases. I'm always battling with wanting to try stuff out just like you.
I don’t get on RUclips much anymore and I got excited when I saw you just posted! Really, I don’t watch the makeup. I fell out of that hobby a long time ago. (BB cream, mascara, brow only) I guess that means do whatever makeup stuff you want and yapp your heart out. I like the chit chatting and lifestyle stuff. Weirdly, we are just about birthday twins down to the year so I like seeing what you’re up to. Take care ❤
Jessica, I’ve never been huge into makeup. I wear it maybe 1-2 days a week. I honestly don’t remember how I even stumbled across your videos years and years ago, but I continued to watch pretty consistently because I liked you and your personality, not for the makeup. You do the makeup thing well for sure, but I bet many of us aren’t watching you for that reason. All of that to say, if the makeup is overwhelming you, we’re fine with you scaling back on it. YOU are why we continue to watch.
I enjoy the transition with your channel. I love all of the variety and you sponsoring and trying new brands. There has been a lot of cute stuff I have been wanting to try or I wondered about. I like makeup but I don’t watch a lot of makeup videos any more. I don’t use a ton of it anymore. As I age my skin looks better with less. You are my favorite you tuber.
Since I become a mum I have less free time and I become more picky with what videos I am watching. I still watch yours but not all of them. I like speedy reviews and declutter videos. I am also so pleased you are considering and seeing the impact on the environment the make up industry have. We throw out so much on a daily basis. Unrecyclable and fancy packaging is not needed!
I think content works best when it reflects the person making it and it's why I've been able to grow with you as your content has shifted. I like the variety :)
Jessica, I have enjoyed your videos for years! And I’ve seen so much growth from you. And the closer you grow to God, the closer you become to noticing worldly clutter can be stressful. I gravitate towards your make up videos because you are sensitive to those who don’t go out and spend a lot of money on make up. Your skin tone and hair color is a lot like mine, and so is your personality. Therefore, watching what you buy, and how you handle certain situations, is beneficial. Love your channel and the fact that you’re starting to desire, consuming less, that’s not a bad thing! Your content is still beneficial, still inspiring, and out of most influencers, you’re right up there with being authentic and beautiful. So here’s to a new you and a new direction with your channel! I will still be watching!
I don’t watch as many make up videos as I used to but I think it goes in phases, as the season changes.. I’m not wearing as much lately and have found products I really like .. I love the mix, make up, life style, reflection videos.. your a favorite of mine
I get it. I used to buy so much makeup and I don't even make videos like you. Now I'm kinda sick of it all, but I still love it at the same time. I'm just tired of so much stuff all the time, and I'm not just talking about makeup either. I think some of us have gone through our shopaholic era and are ready for our minimal era. As for your makeup videos, I love them and I will always watch! They are my favorites to watch because it's like chatting with a girlfriend and there's something about beauty that us women always seem to bond over. Part of me still wants to watch those product heavy videos because it's just fun to see all the new shiney stuff. At the same time it's like I live vicariously through watching you try that new stuff because it still interests me but I just don't want to buy so much for myself anymore. Of course when I do buy something new it will likely be from your recommendations. On a different note, I'm thinking you might need a different system in terms of how you keep track of the makeup you're trying out. I think if you refined it a little, it might not feel so overwhelming. What if you had bins with some different categories, like 'tried once' 'tried twice' 'last chance' 'speed reviews' 'likes' 'loves' 'dislikes'. That way you could keep track better of how many times you've tried something and once you've given it 3 tries and done a speed review on it, then you decide it's fate... is it a love or like that you keep or is it a dislike to get decluttered. I think that way it could really streamline your reviews process and eliminate the need to declutter. Maybe I've thought too much about this haha That's how my brain works I guess. ANYWAY! I love you and your videos and whatever you decide, I will keep watching. 🥰💗
I still love and will always watch makeup videos but you make some great points, we all definitely have more than we probably need and things sit and then become expired.
I found you when all I wanted to watch was makeup videos & now your the only one I still watch. I find myself caring more about the personality than the actual content. If I connect with your personality I’ll watch anything you talk about. ❤
I still love makeup, but am definitely in the phase of not needing all of the things! And I do watch makeup content, but not tutorials like I used to. I love your content. It’s helpful and relatable.
I am a follower that will watching literally anything you post! It can be exhausting trying to keep up with all the new releases, and it’s just not a part of my life anymore. As a mom of a toddler, I am always watching RUclips during naps or after his bedtime, and usually while cleaning or doing something else productive. For me, that means I don’t have to be eyes on the screen watching. I tend to be pretty passive when watching, so it kind of doesn’t matter what you’re doing 😂 I just like your content!
Sweetheart I totally get what your saying!!! I don't have your job but as I have gotten older , I wear minimal makeup and when I find something I love I just stick with it!!! You just keep doing you ,I totally appreciate your honesty and I would watch you no matter what!!! Love you Jess ❤
I don’t watch many makeup videos beyond declutters either! I think a great in between if you find yourself missing filming declutter videos is have a basket of things to throw out, then once a quarter/year you can make a “what I’m getting rid of” video. That way it’s out of your collection and not taking up too much headspace ❤ RUclips-wise I download videos and watch them on the train to/from work everyday. I watch literally anything you and Tyler upload, as well as some Brianna Woodbine and Our Z Roll. Outside of that it’s the occasional gaming video or vlog from some funny RUclipsrs I like. So excited to see your next chapter! To me it feels right because I feel like we’re all in the same post-haul exhaustion ❤
Been a subscriber since you were on your bedroom floor. And this is so refreshing! Over consumption is at a level that is so unsustainable. I did a no-buy in 2020 and overall it went great. I’m doing another in 25!!!
I still like watching make up videos, but I don’t subscribe to as many people as I used to. I love that you are always honest and would miss your recommendations and reviews if you ever stopped doing makeup on your channel. At the same time I can understand your desire to have a more curated collection of products that you use and love. I also want to be more intentional about what I purchase, and change my mindset of always wanting something new before using up what I have. I like this style video where you get ready using what’s on the chopping block and coffee chats.
I still love makeup videos. Even ones like this are great. Doesn't have to be new makeup, and I am not really looking for dupes these days. If there is something I am really interested in, I'll splurge for it. I like to hear your thoughts about things. The videos you did a couple months ago on the top 5 of this or that and ranking them by stars was good. Ill take whatever I get from you though, you are enjoyable to watch!
Great video Jessica. I’m 52 and SO over makeup videos. I use what I like and don’t change things up except for lipglosses/ lipstick. You are the only one I watch. I don’t miss any of your videos. I have to say I’m so happy for you and the future of of your channel. The changes you’ve made so far are great! Looking forward to 2025 and everything you have to share with us. ♥️🎄
Spot on!! And a journey I will be taking after New Year's. I retired in February, and am now overwhelmed by my two vanities, 6 drawer Alex system all full of skin care, and make up. Not to mention over 80 nail polishes and 30+ perfumes. Thanks for the inspiration, and courage to make the change.
Of course we grow and change how we do things and it’s your channel and you have the delightful prerogative to produce whatever content you desire for whatever reasons you have. 😊 Since you did ask what we think on the topics mentioned I’ll share some of my personal thoughts. I primarily view RUclips in general and this channel specifically FOR makeup related content in all sorts of forms, reviews, dupes, tutorials, hauls, declutters, etc. I am not as much interested in sponsored content, blogs, clothing reviews, lifestyle, books, decor, etc. I’m here “shopping” for makeup content for the most part. I love how every content creator has a different approach to it and seeing how certain products work on different people. You yourself have influenced me to pick up a few things here and there and I’ve enjoyed trying them. (I just applied some of the new elf shadow topper you recently mentioned, for example.) I’ll watch as many makeup related videos you produce because I think you do a fantastic job at them. I don’t worry too much about the how or why of them. That part is up to you. I do focus more on drugstore content if that helps. I’ll most likely view less non-makeup related and less sponsored content especially when it’s not makeup. But that’s just me. Like I always say, opinions are like belly buttons, everyone’s got one! 😂 Remember, we love you (as much as we can from just knowing you online) and what you do. And feedback isn’t pushback. We are just letting you know what we think too. Blessings to you and your family. ❤
Yes, sometimes I feel enough is enough with all the new makeup. There is literally no way to keep up. But I have never been offended by your makeup hauls. In fact, I really enjoy yours and would miss them if you no longer did them. You are very conscientious!
Still love makeup content and i search them out especially when new products launch and i want to see reviews and application from multiple ppl. But I like the variety of content that you are sharing.
Jess-I think we are all trying to be mindful-and even using what we have with the new techniques that we all are trying. I am proud of you-lets do it together!
I have watched you for 9 years now, i am, however over 70 so not in your stage of life. I enjoy the makeup videos because I have found if something works for you and you like it, it will also work for me with my skin type and undertone. I do watch almost all of your videos, but would truly miss the makeup recommendations.
I still enjoy a lot of makeup videos, especially educational ones, like where they're talking about formulations and why that product may or may not work for you because of your skin type.
I’m glad that you shared your thoughts and intentions, & I respect your decision. I’m in a similar boat (except with a wayyyy smaller collection). It just doesn’t bring me joy to open my lip liner container and see 6 basically identical colors. I’m tired of FOMO culture! I also have a great desire to reduce decision fatigue each day. So, as things expire or I realize that it’s been so long since I’ve used a product that I can’t even remember, I’ll toss it. I’m trying to be much more choosy about the quality of things like skincare products, but I’m still keeping it as simple as possible. I don’t need several similar things. I just need the right options for the season of life that I’m actually in. I’m sure I’ll never have a truly minimalist makeup collection. I still want to try new things and have some options. Having honest conversations with oneself about why we are buying things and being mindful about what is really adding value is an important part of the process. I like the dopamine rush of buying things. But now I try to let things sit in the online cart for as long as possible. Soooo often I change my mind and am grateful that I didn’t purchase spontaneously. It’ll be really interesting to see what happens next spring and summer. How the brands handle their launches and how will consumers respond.
I’m noticing as for makeup videos I only watch u and one more creator I really enjoy ur reviews and honest opinion on makeup but I truly enjoy your vlogs and coffee chat videos more than the makeup videos 😊
It’s interesting, I think we are all in the same boat. Tired of overconsumption, tired of the haul/declutter cycle. Are we all just growing up? 😂 I still watch a lot of makeup content but I’ve noticed it has started to move toward conscious buying. Really enjoying what you have. Maybe getting some launches that are really exciting. I’ve noticed as I age I like watching more about the application of makeup for my changing skin. I like learning about skincare. I have been loving the best of 2024 (which I hope you still do your Jessie awards!) but it’s the tried and true, daily makeup that stands up.
I like how your channel is mixed with makeup and lifestyles. I like to watch grwm videos because you see the everyday products are and how they achieve their looks. No matter what I will always love this channel❤ I found you during my first pregnancy (your second) and I’ve been hooked since😊

I still like makeup videos. I love honest makeup reviews, makeup hauls declutter. I like all of it
Yes!!!
Same here girly ❤
Yes, I don’t watch any other makeup RUclipsrs as consistently as Jessie. ❤ give me all the makeup vids I wouldn’t change anything. I love the balance.
Yes, I do too!
I miss makeup tutorial videos. Not only are they like watching live art, they always gave me inspiration to try something out of my everyday boring comfort zone or gave me ideas on ways to use products I already had in different ways.
100% agree.
Please please don’t stop making makeup videos. I love all your content, but you are the one person who I trust when it comes to recommendations. I have discovered so many amazing products because of you. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas 💕
Please don’t stop talking about makeup!! When you do videos, we trust your views and opinions. Makeup is what brought and keeps me here.
Idk why.
I love makeup videos and I’d be so bummed if you stopped doing makeup content, your recommendations are the best
Still love watching good old make up videos.❤
One of the things that I really like about you is that you give honest reviews, good or bad. Too many influencers don't give honest reviews and "love" everything. I prefer honest reviews and that helps me buy products that are worth my money.
You look absolutely gorgeous ❤ I have watched your videos for 9 years, and you have blossomed. I would love a video about your health/beauty "secrets" that have improved your life, mind, and body. You look healthy and glowing.
What an incredibly kind comment, thank you Jacquelyn!!!
@Danielleonthedaily Me too ❤. I also like Tati......the 2 from back in the day 😊x
I still love makeup videos and have several content creators I follow all the time. But you are right makeup has a shelf life and we all have too much most likely. Buy what you like and review it for us 😊
I personally gravitate towards drugstore makeup reviews and dupe videos!!
You are THE ONLY ONE makeup channel I watch. I stopped watching everyone else because I feel you are the only honest one I followed.
@jenphelps is also very honest
❤❤❤❤honestly i just enjoy good old GRWM videos especially from you so if you can do that more that would be awesome
Definitely can! :)
The Express haul took me straight back to the 90’s. It’s funny how trends always come back around. Love it 😊
For me now in my life, I don't care what you're putting on your face while you're talking to us.
I enjoy watching whatever vids you make. Just want you to be happy and enjoy what you’re doing.
I have no idea how I got here but I feel the same way. Maybe with age lol
Yes, same!
Same
I also watch every single video she posts, but I’m in the same boat. I love makeup and always want to know what she’s wearing and still highly value her opinion, but it’s sort of nice to feel like I get to go through life and motherhood with a RUclipsr on the Internet who states away from me.
Same!
I will follow your
journey and see where it goes.
You are truly the best! I appreciate your transparency and authenticity
I just love you. I’ve been watching you since the beginning, Jessica. Through many different situations and seasons of my life. Sometimes I’m like, “Man! I wish we were friends.” 💖 You are wonderful, and someone I never tire of.
Just wanted to pop on here and say that.
This means more to me than you realize! Thank you so much!!
Your Express haul is so cute!! So trendy, so cute - you look beautiful!!
Completely understand where you’re coming from and it makes sense. I will still watch every one of your videos lol
6 days postpartum. Clicked right over while nursing 😅💕
Congratulations!!!!!
My baby turned 9 months today and I remember those days. It was brutal but golly I miss her being so small and snuggly. Congratulations!
I’m 8 days pp!! Hope everything is going well for you!🥰 these are the best breastfeeding videos😁🙌
@@emmadorland4141 aww how fun. Congrats to you too! Rest well!
Congratulations 🎉!
Your hair looks so amazing in the video! So pretty! Love your videos and thanks for being you! It's so hard to find these days!
That way it’s out of your collection and not taking up too much headspace ❤
RUclips-wise I download videos and watch them on the train to/from work everyday.
Thanks for the advice on makeup products ! Both high end and budget alternatives!
Remember, we love you (as much as we can from just knowing you online) and what you do.
I like when you do brutal reviews of makeup we don’t get that enough just a lot of people say wowww it’s so pretty
Same here, I’m 70 too soon 71.❤
