Alright I may sound boring but I’d like to see a recording of one of your track days with a voice over about adapting and changing to get better lap times. Not a shallow explanation like “I changed tire pressures for more grip” You seem like a smart guy who can provide qualitative information on why you do what you do at a track day.
I like this suggestion! Agreed. 7 tracks days in (2 season) it feels like I can always learn more and more about tires/managing pressure/when to measure/how many track days out of those track oriented road tires! All the best! Appreciate the content.
Been watching you on tictok and on here for a little while and thank you..... you make the greats and most helpful videos when it comes to this stuff...... i rode years ago for a couple years and now after 10 years just had my first year back on a bike and need new tires and now i know what type of tires im looking for for the riding i do ..... keep it up ..... and thank you again
100% agree with this graph, and since I ride every day unless it is literally freezing, I went with the mischlin road 6 and will recommend them to anyone who can afford them. Great traction in wet conditions
Very cool video brother thank you very much. I live in Phoenix Arizona so I usually run a road/trackday tire but we are moving to Seattle. Can’t wait to do trackdays up there and will probably be using the Rosso4 corsa
ive watched this 10x and i keep coming back. i think, maybe, a 2024 version of this would help. im currently a newer rider, but want to dabble in a sharper profile, but dont want to get something the road will hate but also, my battleaxe stock tire makes my 2023 gsxr 750 feel like a harley in turns. id like a bit more flick.

Hey Adobo! Hope you doing great buddy! I have a Quick question, Do you recommend Michelin Road 6 on a 2024 Yamaha R1? I mostly commute, street riding, some curvy roads on weekends, nothing to aggressive. I also like the Pirelli’s Rosso 3 and Metzler M9RR, I learned from you to keep the stock tire size on the rear. So I will not go 200 on the rear on my Yamaha R1, but I wonder if due to the great milage out of the Michelin Road 6 would be worthy. Please let me know bro. And Thanks in advance
Honestly i think thats gonna be a stretch. My road 5 rear and road6 front setup starts to smear during hot summer rides when i try to push a little bit. Granted i ride two up with a 260kg tourer, so there is that I experienced that they grip absolutely beautiful in wet cold weather compared to other models, but tend to "overheat" or sth in hot temperatures
Put on 14k miles this season in ny, went through 3 rear and 2 front. Really like the handling on a q3+ but my favorite budget tire is the pilot power 2ct. Think I got like 5-6k out of that tire
Ive murdered 3 sets of bridgestone rs10 street track tires in about 4 months. They have terrible life but they heat up quite fast. Interested to see how perellis road track fares.
For me Bridgestone s22 bang for buck best all around tires for beginners. then Supercorsa on track/race bike, supercorsa are slippery on rainy days with less thread to vacate the water and also harder to put on temp for maximum efficiency.
@@numpty94 that was the first one that came to mind too 😂. That dude has pointless content I'll never understand why anyone would want to watch that garbage
Hi, lots of love from India, I have a street triple (latest), I do occasional track days and sporty street riding, can you suggest a good tyre ? Currently I’m very happy with the super corsa sp v3(stock) but it faded very quickly. Keep up the good work Thanks
I got track tires on my used bike I bought, but they're almost brand new. I'm a new rider as well. Is the difference that big that I should buy a road or road/track tire since I find it a shame to have brand new tires just sitting around
What brand tyres do you have in your cf moto? I want to buy a duke 390 similar bike. .I'm not driving in a race track but I'd like to scratch the knees on the asphalt in the weekend for fun
Me i love Supercorsas suits my style of riding as i do push myself on most rides. I don’t do many miles a season so that helps in cost of things and im also choosy when i ride if i see its going to 🌧️ i don’t ride only when its dry do i get my bike out so again Supercorsas kinda fit me and my style of riding 👍🏻
How do you know when your tires are toast from track days? Anything different from track riding that you need to look for on the tires? Or am I overthinking things and just need to make sure the overall tread is still fine?
I’d get new tires after two or three full track days. It’s more about heat cycle. Also depends on your pace. You can feel performance get worse depending on your pace.
I ride a trike i call Bad Intentions. A 200 mph club member on 2 wheels at Texas Mile. Now a goal of 168 on bad intentions. Willing to talk about speed rated tires that will pass tech. Top speed so far is 140 on a Pirrelli Dragon GT.
Battled RS11. They are comparable to pirelli supercorsas grip and profile at half the cost. I only get about 2500-3k out of a rear but if you don’t ride like a maniac you may get closer to 4-5k
Can anyone help me choose, i have a gsxr 600 i live in a very hot city and the roads are slippery. What is the best rear tire on ebay that has best grip and no over 150 us

My rears seem to contain magnets. I put on a new rear and less than 500 mi. had another damned nail in the new tire. OR maybe Dunlop ships the tires with the nails already installed.
I just had my 1st trackday on brand new set of rosso II, and i can honestly tell, that the tires had performance reserve, I was dragging knees and the tires were okay with that. I’ve been riding on KTM RC8, so really high torque bike.
I bought a roso corsa 2 for my MT10. I thought it would last me at least 3000km on street mountain rides... but I think it will need replacement at 2500km max. Triple compound my ass
@@adobomoto The corsa 2's side grip is enough for spirited mountain riding. If you are limiting it on the street, you will have a high chance of picking leaves out of your bikes fairings. I just hoped it had more mileage becuase of its tripple compound rear and is 10,000 pesos more expensive than the Mitas sportforce+ EV(popular here in the PH)
I tried the Q3+ for a season. 3 of us low sided at different points in time after using them at the track. the sides turn into plastic after 2 track days.
