It was the first all female girls club type movie then after them came first wives club and so on. This movie was ground breaking for the cinema Lena's they used on the cast being it was all black. Go see it , it's a great movie! Also this was the 3 song to debut at number 1 all in a row, MJ did it like in sept, Mariah did it in Oct. then Whitney came and did it in Nov. I may have the months wrong but it was almost back to back.

One is going through a divorce after she helped her husband become a successful businessman. One is trying to find love even though the man she loves is married. One is raising a son and trying to date after all these years. One is in love with a deadbeat and is looking for love in all the wrong men. It’s a chick flick however if you have a mother, aunt,sister, cousin who have been in any of those situations you should definitely watch it so you can understand what they went through. This soundtrack was supposed to be for Whitney only but she didn’t want to sing all of those songs like she did with the majority of The Bodyguard. So Bobby told her to ask other female artist to join.
