Definitely better, as Kimi was in Alfa and Charles was in Ferrari
There is a raindrop no on opening laps in '20 portimao?..
Mugello? Not Portimao?
One of the best first lap ever made if not the best because It was made on a dry track
I was watching it love from Abu Dhabi T5 grandstand, and i couldn't believe my eyes what the madman was doing! To see him P8 at the end of lap 1 was crazy! The grandstand was cheering for his every move! Crazy experience and looking forward to some fireworks next season.
In Brazil Max Verstappen drove like Senna and now Leclerc Drove like Schumacher 🔥🔥
Simply was the lap of the Gods.
The Ferrari team for '25 is looking strong!
And that’s why the Italian commentator calls him “the Predestined”
superb drive
Tbh I was really impressed by his drive in Abu Dhabi. His L1 was like a first lap in games, he placed his car perfectly when he needed to. Then good pace in ther race. I think it was his one of the best drives in 2024 season. Truely trying to maximize Ferraris chances for WCC.
Did Leclerc drank a 100 cups of espresso? He was so fast that everything else must felt like slow motion.
T6 is funny, it looks like he literally just brakes normally while everyone else is trying not to hit each other, clean air in the braking that far back in the pack is borderline a miracle
Split second decisions were PERFECT! You got to have some luck too ,thus, we will never see this many overtakes on the first lap in 11 years. Great drive Charles.
Leclerc was amazing... i would've won 2k if ferrari took the championship.. but i was still happy to see this masterclass!
This was the video I was waiting for Thanks buddy 😂😂
Very brave from Leclerc to go around the outside of LANCE STROLL
As a Ferrari fan, Mclaren was very consistent this season, and definetly deserved the WCC. Still hurts to see such a good performance not be enough.
Had Ferrari not botched the upgrades after Monaco till about Spa they would have won the WCC
@@RANDOMZBOSSMAN1 yes and if my grandma had wheels...
@@alexandrecosta2567 she would make the best bike in the world!
It’s like Ferrari took the eye off the ball after Monaco when Charles won I think overall your drivers had better years than the McLaren drivers
@@RANDOMZBOSSMAN1McLaren deserved the wcc for the car development (mcl38 was a beast from Miami till the end season). For sure not for the two bottler drivers
@@mattiaturrisi2632 Best car they’ve produced since 2007 honestly like this might have been the best car they’ve produced this century in terms of speed and reliability if I had to rank the top 10 McLaren cars since 2000 I would go
2007
2024
2005 (only this low because of reliability)
2000
2008
2012 (docked due to reliability again)
2011
2001
2010
2002
Literally just came on RUclips to search to see if anyone had uploaded on boards of this lap, and you were at the top! Didn't even search! Best F1 related channel out there 👍
Leclerc is fire and he litt ignited an entire sleepy nation 🏎
he traded off quali pace this year for better starts and race pace...hes complete for 2025 ferrari needs to give him a car now
I think he got a bit lucky with all those incidents... His good reactions and awareness helped him achieve this feat... Not Ferrari but atleast Charles deserved the title😢❤❤
Great recovery drive by Leclerc, my DOTD 🎉❤
Lecrerc really said:
"Nah, I'll win"
I've been watching F1 since late-2010 (when I heard on the local news radio that someone named Vettel had a shot at the title) and this is one of the most impressive first laps I've ever seen
Ayrton Senna: "you can't overtake 15 cars when it's dry"
Leclerc: But you can 11
He overtook 6 cars, not 11. The video shows that clearly.
What a driver ❤ but people will still say that Ferrari fired the wrong driver 😂
Was waiting for this. Thank you!
Amazing job all year by charles and carlos the whole team stepped up this yr and were so close to the constructors title
If Leclerc was in Sainz position he could have done something more about Lando for the wcc. But if Sainz wass at Leclercs position I don't think he could have finished p3
Couldn't agree more
It was great insight, most he overtook, took themselves out, but still a great drive from him the first round, staying out of harms way is also a way to progress
YOOOO Looked like me diving around the outside on my sim, how the fuck did he slow that boy down 🫢🫢🫢
Both moves from Leclerc and Magnussen into the chicane were mega
He took over the role of the smooth operator.
That was mental. The last time I watched something similar was Raikkonen and Giovinazzi in Portugal 2020
I had bought the Burago of Charles' 2023 car, my inner child was using it as a good luck charm, and although Ferrari didn't win the constructors championship, it still worked at getting Charles to P3
Leclerc did the real champions drive.
If Ferrari keep up their form, they will definitely win the WCC and maybe Lewis can get his 8th or Charles his 1st championship.
Leclerc really deserves a championship with his driving, if only rari stopped sht itself he’ll get it
That's some championship mentality. Really hoping he would show a lot more of that next year.
Greatest drive of the season.
Surs Verstappen dominated Brasil, but man 19->3 in an uneventful race means you beat everyone with pure talent.
And some delusional people still think Ferrari made the wrong choice letting go of Sainz who couldn’t catch up to Norris 😂😂
I really feel that this was his best recovery drive in f1.
But not the best race of his career (I consider his F2 race in Bahrain, the recovery drive with 2 pit stops to be the best)
If this doesn’t result in him winning some title next year I don’t think it will ever be possible for Ferrari to win a title again
That was absolute masterclass. Respect.
if he drives like this all the time , let Leclrec start from the bottom positions .... he really showed pure skills there with overtaking. No Safety Cars, no red Flags nothing... pure class.
Great pilot in a perfect car..... you cannot beat that.
0:32 max verstappen spinning lmao
Bro pulled off a F1 online game ahh start
Next year's 2025 WCC winner already decided Leclerc n Hamilton deadly duo.
