I love lostening to your covers, you make it seem so easy and it sounds perfect! I really want to play this on piano, i'm taking my grade 2 exam in about two months, what grade would you say this is ?
thank you so much! hmm it’s a little difficult to categorise this into a grade, since i feel in general pop songs are a lot more predictable and less technical than classical. however, there may be some jumps, intervals and rhythms that may be more awkward since it’s not made for piano. also pop doesn’t care about how difficult the key is, for example exile is in Gb major which i imagine would be quite horrible at grade 2. if i had to pick most of what i arrange would probably lay somewhere around grade 4-6. don’t let this discourage you though! feel free to try out the first page of any of my covers to see how it feels, you don’t know if it’s too hard until you try. i will say though, if you’re going into grade 3 i think my tears ricochet would be a good one to start with. sorry this was such a long reply, if you have any other questions i’m happy to help! have fun playing!
