Omg 😲 😱 i never could remember the name of this!! I played it as a kid and it was my favorite 😍 i rode my bicycle to 7-11 to play it in the 80s. Thank you for this video!
The sound track took me back to when I was 10 yrs old when me n my friends would go to the arcade all the time.the best moves is the split poke attack.
This isn't what the game looked like when playing the Arcade game. I plunked so many quarters into that machine, it was great action for an early fighting game with so many fighting styles for its time.
The first time I played Yie Ar Kung-Fu was in the 80’s at a Mexican restaurant. I believe I spent like $2 trying to beat the game but later on it came out on NES port. So I rented the game at a video store and beat it again 😂😂😂😂
I could never get past Fan. In hindsight, jumping over all of tye flying fans is definitely easier than trying to kick and punch them all like I used to try and do. Glad I got to finally see all of the characters.
I remember playing this game as a kid at the skating rink. And I thought it was the coldest game in the world.I just could not do the moves and never beat the5th boss.... Then when nintendo came out with it it was completely different
Sensacional!!! Esses jogos foram a base....os pioneiros. No cenário do "Chaim" dá pra ver nitidamente de onde os caras tiraram a ideia do templo do "Shang Sung" do Mortal Kombat.....
Well well, if it isnt one of my favorite arcade games from my childhood, Nut-shot Kung Fu. Unlike Kung Fu Master, this game was challenging. Hard as i tried i could never defeat Tonfun. Great post, thanks for the memories.
I played this game in the early 90s at a party store across the street from my house i couldn't bet it but my female cousin bet it i was jealous 😅😅😅😅 of her all summer 😂😂
This guy plays terrible. You can hit Star's shrukiens to gain points and extra lives. Same as Chain's chain and Fan's fans :-) Each one has its own tactics to beat. For Tonfun you must jump to one corner, hit lower corner kick and jump to the other side, even if you didn't hit. Hit another lower corner kick and jump again, rinse and repeat. For Blues (Bruce Lee we called him) just hit ordinary middle kick and go back. Jump to the other corner if u get trapped. When he has 3 hits left, he makes a jump and changes routine and middle kicks don't work. From tihs point its all gung ho and button bashing. Hopefully you beat him. I spent many many coins back in the day, but couldn't beat second Blues.
The game of my childhood. Those were the times....
I LOVED this time. Discovering games. All the sounds after that never ending load time was like a fun park for me.
The original Psycho Crusher move 😂
I miss these games from the 80s. Spent lots of time in arcades im the 80s
naa the games are better now

great childhood memories with this one
Man I remember this game. Takes me back to the arcades as a kid. I still remember how goofy we thought the heroes name was, oolong 🤣🤣🤣
This game is endless.
No ending.
Fun Fact: Star and Fan are the first female fighters in fighting game history, but a certain Chinese ex-ICPO officer is the most famous.
This is pretty cool for 1984. I've never seen this game before. It surely was the inspiration for modern day fighting games...
Holy shit, man if this don’t take me back to my childhood…I spent a lot of time at the arcades in the 80’s…this was on of my favorites 🤘
This isn't what the game looked like when playing the Arcade game. I plunked so many quarters into that machine, it was great action for an early fighting game with so many fighting styles for its time.
I still remember the moment I finally beat Tonfun LOL! This used to be in the newsagent around the corner from my house in South London circa 1985.
Tonfun? I bet you had a TON OF FUN! lawlawalwalwalawalwal
Loved this game back in the day! I have an arcade compilation for the PS1 with this game on it 👍🏿
The first time I played Yie Ar Kung-Fu was in the 80’s at a Mexican restaurant.

Love this game when I was a kid👍
There was a party store in the hood that had this game, we would play it all the time.
Came for the thumbnail
Stayed for the music 🎶
This game was so ahead of its time
I still have this cabinet among other games.
Could never get past stage 4, then I would rage quit! Loved this game anyway! I was able to land a groin shot on stage one and the eyes would bug out!
I know pole was a basterd especially his repeated pole hits.
I just had to do leg sweeps on Pole and hope that I get lucky.
arcades in mid Manhattan after school best childhood ever
I could never get past Fan. In hindsight, jumping over all of tye flying fans is definitely easier than trying to kick and punch them all like I used to try and do. Glad I got to finally see all of the characters.
This game is a certified hood classic! 😄
i can see how this was a cult classic for the time. the animations are one of a kind
They need to make a live movie adaptation of this game.

I Used To Play This Game At The Bowling Alley When I Was Kid . I Miss The Good Old Days 💯💯💯
This game drove me nuts
Wow..I remember spending plenty of quarters on this game
Thank you for the excellent demonstration of this distant classic
sooooooooo many quarters to see all these opponents.
i recall having to find patterns to win, like punch out
0:10 This Buchu guy was doing Psycho Crusher 5 years before we saw M. Bison doing it.
Better than MK 1!
I remember playing this game as a kid at the skating rink. And I thought it was the coldest game in the world.I just could not do the moves and never beat the5th boss.... Then when nintendo came out with it it was completely different
Had this game for the Commodore 64
Before Street Fighter and Tekken, there was Karate Champ and ☝️. These were the days
Spent hours playing this at the arcade
Sensacional!!! Esses jogos foram a base....os pioneiros. No cenário do "Chaim" dá pra ver nitidamente de onde os caras tiraram a ideia do templo do "Shang Sung" do Mortal Kombat.....

The NES version was great for me. 🙏🌟👍
Street Fighter's grandfather.
"Pole" looks like he is well schooled in the pole waxing style.

I completely forgot about this game, but music and gameplay brought my memories back. Remember having problems with Fan/Sword.
As coisas simples do passado nos geraram tantas saldades 🎶🎶/
Joguei muito na infância aqui no 🇧🇷
I was pretty good at this one
Well well, if it isnt one of my favorite arcade games from my childhood, Nut-shot Kung Fu. Unlike Kung Fu Master, this game was challenging. Hard as i tried i could never defeat Tonfun. Great post, thanks for the memories.
It would be awesome if they made a version of this that allows you to play any character. Or another version that allows blocking.
I played this game in the early 90s at a party store across the street from my house i couldn't bet it but my female cousin bet it i was jealous 😅😅😅😅 of her all summer 😂😂
THAT'S MY PURSE ‼️🤜💥😖
I DON'T KNOW YOU ‼ 🥾💥⚽⚽

I remeber playing this on C64. Never could beat the pole dude, he was cheap af.
Would much prefer these unfiltered for proper flashback-ness :(
Awesome
Don't you dare to say that the thumbnail was not intentional!🤣
I dropped many a quarters on this game!
You should do some more Final Fight videos. Pretty please
We saw a dude make it to fan once and we lost our minds 😂
Nes. Neo geo. Etc.. gracias
It's Yie Ar Kung Fu...this is arcade, but the NES version is different.

Yes it was.

The version i played was different though.
So....Nuncha has nunchucks and Pole has a Pole, and Fan has fans......and Sword has a sword....you can't make this shit up
Can't find Feedle in the dictionary, though.
