I think most people in the 1990s wrote off Oasis as a "Beatles-wannabe" act. They really did have an unbelievable talent to make sonic magic on tracks like this one, "All Around the World", "Wonderwall", "Don't Look back in Anger" , "Don't Go Away", "My big Mouth" and others. The tracks from "What's the Story Morning Glory" and "Be Here Now" were awesome to me as a teenager.
I'm not sure most people did write them off like that in the 90's because all I remember from the 90's was them just being the biggest band in the entire world, especially around 1996-1998. They were the first band I ever listened to that made me go out and buy an album.

In Korea, many young people get negative and frustrated of unfair and unsure reality. only music but God makes people stand tall and recover. some of them listen to songs which are made very emphathetically and sentimentaply about their feeling. I sometimes listen to that kind of songs, but it seems to lead them to worse feeling like sympathizing themselves too much so that they couldn't escape from their bad situations. I had almost joined them. however, Oasis rescued me. NG didn't mean to save somebody at that time. I've been listening to music for all my life.Luckily i didn't stuck to a certain musical genre. I always enjoy a piece of music that speaks straight to my heart. From heavy heavy stuff like Meshuggah to St. Vincent's magical pop. Everyone who really loves music can clearly see that Oasis is one of the biggest and most influential bands ever existed.
I don't think you know what the word influential means... Can you name a single band that shows obvious influence from Oasis? If you think you can... I'll just point to what influenced Oasis. Bands like the Beetles and The Stones who had infinitely more success and have been infinitely more influential. 😂
YEAH !!! united again ! my soul started jump~, danc~ and singing ! pretty soon we ALL can have the life~time~experiment of the supernova t coronae borealis ! YEAH !!! thats's absolut phantstic ! we are ALL o n e !!! ---> let's ALL unite ! victory of the L I G H T & the L O V E ! ; ~ )))
To be honest this does not look HD, like "D'you Know what I mean". This looks distorted... hmmm. I think They only cut the black bars on top and bottom and enlarged the image.
is a track about that reflects on missing out on life and relationships as time passes quickly by. The song uses metaphors and allusions to describe the feeling of being “caught beneath the landslide” of life, like in a champagne supernova, a metaphor for life flashing by too quickly to fully live it. The lyrics speak to how people change and the opportunities pass, and ponder “Where were you while we were getting high?” as a question of missed out moments. The song ends on a shot of hope, with the understanding that eventually “Someday you will find me caught beneath the landslide in a champagne supernova in the sky.” The song encourages listeners to embrace every moment, even if it means letting go of the things that no longer serve us, and being present in life as it passes by.
I love this song. I get a little kick at 5:40 when bird’s start tweeting and chirping. I never noticed it before. Only Oasis with Liam’s kick ass awesome voice can pull that off. ❤

Each time I listen to this song, come to my mind some memories with my brother, we were watching the sky and talking about the universe while this song played in the background. Celestial.
Indescribable feeling when you listen to the sea and the chords. One of the best final tracks of an album in the 90s!

This is how I see the Music Videos back then, at 3AM in the morning, in my bed, mesmerizing while in tears on how beautiful the song is. And that's how I discover Oasis back then...
literally me
7:27 of pure genius - fact! Beautifully written, beautifully sung & featuring none other than the legend that is Paul Weller (guitar solo) Never ever tire of hearing this track - thank you Oasis.

Champagne Supernova is the place where the dreams are waiting for us

Amo cuando están acostados en el suelo boca arriba y la cámara gira. Noel con esa camisa es un sueño ❤️
One of my favorite things about this song is that it isnt about anything in particular. It's up to each person to interpret it as they hear it, and there's some profound beauty in that.
Well said!
Ive read from multiple sources that its about their alcoholic father, but i could be incorrect

Oasis music has some magic giving confidence and energy. the exaggerated and distorted sound could sound noisy and confusing even with random lyrics. it's ironic. such composition makes more meaning and greater hope. I am listening to Oasis for over 3 years. I never get sick of Oasis. instead, I discover new music from their album once in a while. my favorite of these days is 'Go let it out'
This song is absolutely incredible and Liam in this is so special his voice and his eyes, the whole thing is a mood in itself
Fantastic. Beatlesque songwriting, defiant, optimistic attitude, and great rock singing make for a classic record.
I’m very honored to have been born in the time when Oasis started taking off (1994). Part of me is mad at myself for not getting into them sooner in life, but thanks to watching Supersonic doc in 2019 I fell in love with them. So I’m thankful I was able to truly appreciate them at some point in my life. Music will never be like this again.
Same here
This song always reminds me of surreal era of my 90s childhood, this being played over and over on the mall during a hot sunny day, as if time itself stopped. Top memories!!!
Agree totally Ash the song of the summer back in the day
@heda kom They said ‘mall’ so yeah they’re American
What a decade in which to be a child 💕 Magical. Insanely magical and wonderful decade 😊 👍 🇬🇧 🎶

It builds and builds and builds and keeps building until we arrive at one of the best guitar solo's I've ever heard! Just oozes emotion and euphoria... Wasn't a bad time to be 14 in 1996... Mad for it!

Best morning glory song ever
I'm on an acid trip and I can't sleep, starting getting scary but this song is helping me calm down.
Hope you’re good now man
You alright man?
I'm good now. I was laying in my bed staring at the ceiling and then I had a panic attack when it really started to kick in. I didn't get that many visuals but everything started to lose its shape for a few seconds.
@@miles4948 I just can’t get why people do drugs to get that “psychedelic” feeling. You’ll probably end up like Syd Barrett if you do it too much.

LYRICS 🥀🖤🥀
How many special people change?
How many lives are living strange?
Where were you while we were getting high?
Slowly walking down the hall
Faster than a cannonball
Where were you while we were getting high?
Someday you will find me
Caught beneath the landslide
In a champagne supernova in the sky
Someday you will find me
Caught beneath the landslide
In a champagne supernova
A champagne supernova in the sky
Wake up the dawn and ask her why
A dreamer dreams she never dies
Wipe that tear away now from your eye
Slowly walking down the hall
Faster than a cannonball
Where were you while we were getting high?
Someday you will find me
Caught beneath the landslide
In a champagne supernova in the sky
Someday you will find me
Caught beneath the landslide
In a champagne supernova
A champagne supernova
'Cause people believe
That they're gonna get away for the summer
But you and I, we live and die
The world's still spinning 'round, we don't know why
Why? Why? Why? Why?
[Guitar Solo]
How many special people change?

the beatles and oasis will always be my top tier favorite
I'm on a champagne supernova right now with the news of their reunion

To be honest this does not look HD, like "D'you Know what I mean". This looks distorted... hmmm. I think They only cut the black bars on top and bottom and enlarged the image.
OASIS Number #1 British band of the 90s. Awesome music back then and awesome still now.
I'm not crying!

When he sings “How many special people change” i felt that
There’s something about the end of this song that gives me the chills. The long ending.
This is everyone’s favourite song
Thank you Oasis! I needed that seven minutes and twenty eight seconds today. 🌥 Hope you all are well!
is a track about that reflects on missing out on life and relationships as time passes quickly by.
Oasis fans never stray. Love Oasis.

"How many special people change , How many lives are living strange" Legends Oasis
I never get tired of hearing this song! One of my top 5 of favorite songs. These band has an incredible sound and the lyrics have so much meaning.
i dont think its that the songs lyrics have meaning but its so non descript your mind fills in the gaps making it a diffrent song for everyone
making the song perfect for you in your moment
The lyrics have no meaning the man who wrote it doesn’t even know what it means
The 1st 30 seconds continues to give me chills, 25 years later.
The greatest group in my lifetime. Ever.
I love this song. I get a little kick at 5:40 when bird’s start tweeting and chirping. I never noticed it before. Only Oasis with Liam’s kick ass awesome voice can pull that off. ❤
