1- I always use separate tawa for chapati and dosa. 2- wash with mild soap, after washing quickly wipe with tissue paper and grease with oil.after greasing heat up on medium flame and keep it aside.Do it 2 times in a week.(for new tawa) 3-Do as much as greasing work as you can , more greasing work will seasoned your tawa properly. It will help in making a nonstick layer on you tawa. 4- don’t was after every use. Soon i will share a separate video for maintaining cast iron. Hope this help

You can take 1/2cup urad dal soak for 4 hrs with fenugreek seeds blend it and add 2 cups of jowar or sorghum flour..leave it to ferment overnight..can replace jowar with ragi as well

First wash them properly then soak .
If you want you can skip the same water for grinding.
