- Hey everyone!
I am glad to present the final episode in bodywork restoration with the car being painted. In this video you will able to seee the respray process and how the car was painted, what the fina lresult looks like and help me decide what kind of content you wish to see in the future. I hope you'll like this one.
Thank you for being a part of this project and following the bodywork restoration. Special thanks to my friends, family and Forum Colorum team.
If you have any questions or comments please leave them bellow. Thank you for the support!
...hard work pays off...this colour pops...is hard not to see the smile on you face and satisfaction in your eyes by looking at the manta...congratulations metod for walking a big piece of manta journey off...
Thanks man, I appreciate it! 🙌
My '73 Manta is awaiting the same treatment. But the '69 GT is almost assembled. Would love to see the continuing build. Most people have not seen how windows go into this era of car. How the headliner must go in before the glass, and that you need a sealer between the rubber and glass, and rubber and body. Continue,... please.
Thank you Dennis for your kind words of encouragment. I was afraid the assembly process might seem dull but I am glad you are interested in it. Thanks for actively following the project. Have a nice day! :)
CONGRATULATIONS 🎉
And yes, Thank you to the painters for the caring work. Looking Super and am stoked for you - now await the assembly. The long process you did has me looking at my "parts" Manta in a different way. I might just restore it after I complete my Luxus Manta!
Thanks man, I am glad you like it! The assembly is ironically the part I look least forward to 😅
@@l3v4rt Indeed, but just think of it as each part and work is the road to driving enjoyment and freedom. Good suspension referrals from Andrew's posts should be a big help. Excited for you and your posts will help us out too! Cheers
@@goratgo1970 thanks, I fully agree there and Andrews and Charles' videos are of great help indeed. I think slowly theamta A community on RUclips is also growing
very nice work, I'm looking forward to the assembly
Thanks! So it wouldn't be boring to watch the assembly? :D
I would enjoy some videos of you putting the car back together. It looks so nice with all the body work and the great paint job completed.
Thanks John for kind words! Greatly appreciated ☺️
Been watching your channel quietly since you started, fantastic work and we can see how proud you are! Well done!!
Thank you Steve! I am glad you like the project :) Can't wait to drive it!! :D
Method, I hope you keep doing the video reportage until smoke comes out of the exhaust, it's getting really beautiful.
Keep up the good work Manta hero!
😊
@@rjw5591 I hope smoke will come from tires 😃 I am filming preparation of parts and slowly progressing but it took tike to get some parts etc. Hope to get a video out soon

A fantastically beautiful sculpture, I'd love to see more content as you restore the inertia , engine, etc
Thank you! The assembly is a tough stage of the project for sure. I am quite intimidated by it to be honest.
Bravo! Ogroman korak naprijed, još malo i cesta 🚀
Hvala hvala! 🙌💪
That's amazing! You are a real inspiration to me for my projects. I can't wait to see your upcoming videos on exterior and interior trim fitting.
Thank you so much! ☺️
Dude! That looks incredible! So smooth and flat! Looks like it doesn't even need any color sanding. It's already way nicer than my car, haha. I look forward to seeing what you do with it from here. Great work to you and your painters. 👏
Thanks man! 🍻 🙌
Super good job man!!!!
Good to see all the hours you and your father have put in it, pay off.

This feels so familiar. My brother did the same thing and my dad also did the same. Both Mantas in red.
Looking good Sir!
Thank you very much! ☺️
Odličan posao ,izgleda predivno!😎👍
Puno ti hvala Danijel! 🙌😃
Amazing what one can do with a body full of rust and corroded metal. All it takes is a whole lot of sweat, hard work and a stubborn desire to make a dream become real.
Couldn't have put it better. Thank you Rene! 🙌
Opasno res, zelo velik del narejen! Samo še do cilja treba stisnit 💪💥
Hvala ded! 🙌
Looks awesome!
Thanks man! 🍻

Are there going to be any videos of the car completed and running??
Sure! I am going on vacation now and then I will post first videos about assembly! ☺️
Hey dude! How did you manage to get out glass from doors?
Hey! To be honest I don't remember and one replacement doors came without it.
@@l3v4rt i managed to get it out by unscrewing whole lifting mechanism.
kakav je ovo gas za dalji rad, ah... moja je daleko od ove faze, ali nadam se da cu je resiti ove godine
Samo jako prijatelju! Ima da i ti i ja napravimo neke kilometre u 2023! ☺️ Sretno
Ciao Caro.....ma quando il prossimo video? ☺

Show all steps
All the steps leading up to this are shown in previous videos. There will probably be a longer video tying everything together once the car is finished but there are dozens of videos regaridnf bodywork on my channel, hope it helps you with your projects! ☺️ Have a good day man!
