Who still listens to them in 2023? That's right me. :) Born in the 90s grew up listening to this great band. Awesome music. My love for Eiffel 65 will never change. ❤️❤️🎶❤️🥰🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
Brother had the CD player back in 1999 mom only bought me the walkman, but didnt stop me from buying this casseste at Music Planet in 1999. Mann was i the coolest kid in 4th grade with this album. Still have the cassete.
I had it too, but it was just “dubbed” (ahahaha), then in 2001 I got the CD and used to play it all the way on the PlayStation 1. Aaaahh old good times 😢
One of my earliest memories is of being at an event for my church when I was 3 or so. We were under an outdoor pavilion of some sort, and it was nighttime out; I think there was some sort of cookout going on, and we were at the point of just lingering after the food to talk with others. One of the older kids had a CD player with this album playing in it. She let me put on her headphones and listen, and this was the song that she played for me. I cannot describe how beyond mind-blowing this song sounded to my little toddler brain. Even as a tiny little lad, it sounded so futuristic to me (by 90s standards, at least lol). And now, 20-something years later, I can safely say that it was probably one of the most influential evenings of my life. I have loved electronic music with all my heart ever since.
For Steven harrold ❤ love these guys too. 90s dubstep and all other dubstep is so cool. I had a cousin who used to be a club DJ when my mom was younger. Now my cousin does professional photography in her homestate of California for celebrities
I think I was 10 when I listened to this song. It was around this time that I really started to understand mortality and that a lot of people I loved wouldn't be here forever. I don't know why this song made me stop and think about that so much, but it really do a number on me. I remember my dad seeing me crying when this song came on and he snapped at me for being a blubbering mess and told me to stop crying. I didn't tell him what I was thinking at the time because I didn't think he'd care. I still think the same.
There are like 6 or 7 songs from this album that will just pop into my head to this day. I can't believe they haven't cleared it for streaming still! Until like a month ago it was Aaliyah and fuckin Eiffel 65 😁
- Buehmann what is the real purpose of presenting ourselves in this life to show compassion and humanitarian help in the world, that is my dub in my life my friend
Personally there's never a better feeling. That hard nostalgia rush plus finding that elusive tune = priceless P.s. happened to me years ago with the band Crossfade and thier track "Cold."
Dub in the context of this song mean any of the following: Inspiration, groove, meaning, love, ect. Dub is the mysterious duplicitious edge which we walk upon. What is dub? I don't know. What happens when you die?
Why is Eiffel 65 so underrated? Why do artists/bands like Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Twenty One Pilots, Justin Beiber, and all the other only half decent artists completely overshadow artists/bands like Eiffel 65? I mean seriously there's so many good artists out there that when I ask other people about them they say something along the lines of "who the frick you talking about" and "No I listen to actual music by (Insert half decent overrated artist here)" I mean why is the common music taste just so bland and uninteresting? People seriously need to branch out once in awhile.
This song sound a lot fuller playing from a high quality mp3. (The one I have is 192kbps). HUGE difference in quality compared to these youtube versions.
Your right that they have been performing much longer than many of the artists today but they do not produce dubstep they make Eurodance, eurohouse, and Europop hence the album title Europop

Because most people are bland and uninteresting? :P
I feel like that all the time. Then when I introduce someone to my music their like " oh I want to be like you. "
