MIT Rocket Team launched Staging Demonstrator II on February 1, 2020 out of Friends of Amateur Rocketry in California.
Demo II flew on an N2400 and an M1430 in the booster and sustainer respectively. This configuration reached an apogee of 33,280’ and achieved a top Mach number of 2.4. The flight had a nominal second stage separation and ignition, successfully demonstrating our staging capability and technology for further development. The team is grateful to our many industry sponsors, faculty, and alumni for their continued support on our journey to space. Ad Astra!

Thank you for uploading. I had the chance to view a rocket launch in 2018. Unbelievable experience. I shared a pretty fun video of the trip to my page.

One thing that I'm noticing on a lot of high performance 2 stage projects is coning on the second stage. Did you guys figure that out?
