Good. I want that. I want replay value. I want my ass to be kicked to then go back to the maps and improve. Cold War Zombies was pathetically easy. You know something is seriously wrong when on the first day of Die Maschine’s release you get to round 100+ with just the OP pre-nerf Ray gun gun, craftable chopper gunners and cheap ammo crates… on the 2nd ever playthrough. If the casuals don’t like the his change in BO6, TOUGH, git guud.
Keep in mind the people playing this map had a limited experience. They wouldn't have enough time to level up weapons, get certain attachments, and test high round strategies. Based on what I've seen, the high round strategy would likely be training around the void cannon and using ammo mods when it's on cooldown. If you ask me it looks pretty easy even with super sprinters because it's a wide open space to train. If PhD slider returns, someone will come up with a strategy with an explosive weapon just like the Helion Salvo in BO4 and M79 in CW. Some people said it was tough to kill zombies and get points with armor wall buys and PaP, but what they don't mention is whether they had certain perks like deadshot, which was really good in CW in helping you deal damage and getting headshots. I've only seen people PaP the weapon, and don't know if they actually upgraded the rarity.
I feel like the loadout argument and gobblegum argument are the same just for different people. Cause both groups say “this makes the game too easy” and then the opposing group will always say “we’ll just don’t use it then they don’t make u” (gobbles or non pistol loadout weapons) but they both miss the point that ur forfeiting the most powerful items in the game if u don’t so of course you’re kind of forced to
"You're forfeiting the most powerful items in the game so of course, you're kind of forced to." This sentence makes no sense, yeah you're forfeiting the most powerful items in the game, that is literally the point. How does that in any way force you to use them. Some people like a challenge, and not having access to powerful things makes things fun for them
one thing i will mention is even with all these op items and abillities, treyarch themselves said round 100 will be the hardest to get to out of all their zombies experiences
It’s definitely better when the “Easter egg” is more direct and straightforward. I don’t think having to watch a RUclips video while playing a game is fun. I’d rather just play the game itself without needing external resources to get the full experience. Just look at the zombies playerbase, a very small minority of which actually understand what even happened in the story.
I love CW but all the maps after BO4 were just big with lots of places with no point. And so far Terminus looks like a giant map with maybe 5 places you’ll likely stay in more than a few mins and no real reason to go back there.
Armor will not be harder to get. Armor is the only thing protecting us from super sprinters. Without having armor 24/7 in the later rounds, it’d literally be impossible to survive. That’s if they are bringing super sprinters back. If not then yeah I guess they’d make it difficult to have armor all the time.
Super sprinters aren't fun, but a lot of Coldwar strats actually involved camping, which involves killing or slowing sprinters before they reach you. It really made training and exploration a hassle. Hopefully super sprinters are a thing of the past.

one good thing about the save and quite function is that you can still play other zombies to warm up before you jump into a high round save you have.
