      It’s pretty great. By the way, Drift isn’t out of scale with that Bee figure. If you’ll recall, Bee was only 16 feet in the first trilogy. He expanded to 18 feet tall in AOE and TLK so that he could lead the new ragtag team without looking super small and weak. This would mean Drift is taller than 2007 Bee by 2 feet and that these figures scale pretty well.
      Hot Rod was also 18 feet tall by the way so that other figure is scaled perfectly as well.

      I thought it was some sort of Cybertronian alt mode that he just kept considering the robot mode doesn't have much on it suggesting a Helicopter one can consider that he's reformatted himself on the fly as much as being an actual helicopter.
      Some thing like this I'd kinda dig is he displayed the kibble in robot mode of what he transformed from and so each time he used a different vehicle mode as his primary his robot mode could shift in appearance too - one can perhaps get that idea from the Hasbro Helicopter Drift toy and the later remould into a Mercedes.

  • @kobeskreations6932
    @kobeskreations6932 Год назад +84

    Surprisingly perfect masterpiece scale given that Bee sized up to 18 feet in AOE instead of remaining 16 feet tall like he was in the first trilogy, meaning Drift is taller than 07 Bee by 2 feet. This truly is the perfect masterpiece AOE Drift figure. A TLK one would be even easier since it wouldn’t need to turn into a helicopter and only come with one sword.
    That Hot Rod figure scales perfectly as well by the way. Bee, Hot Rod, and Drift were all 18 feet in TLK.

By the looks of it, I am sure that MetaGate went through a lot of QC tests and had to make this sacrifice so that they could pull off this lovely black magic transformation. And considering how long we have been waiting for ToyWorld to release their triple changers (Shatter and Dropkick), or at least give us an update about them, I could definitely say that MetaGate did an amazing job. While it doesn't bother me, it is weird that they used the face design from the Last Knight instead of his Age of Extinction face design. I honestly don't think the helicopter mode is bad considering everything its doing. It is an AOE design which are notorious for being difficult to do and triple changers usually have a mode that suffers and the designers made the right choice here.

    I actually prefer it when the Reviewer comments through the Transformation as they are Transforming the figure. That way all intricacies of the Transformation are noted by the Reviewer as they are Transforming the figure. And I like smooth Transformations with as little jump cutting and editing as possible. Especially for complex Transformations. I choose Reviewers that do this for their Transformations especially if I am trying to follow the Transformation closely.

    A transformers figure. That changes into not one, but TWO, forms. And has a perfect, super posable, and movie accurate. With NO KIBBLE on the back of the robot mode has got to be the best thing I have ever seen. While, yes, helicopter isn't so good. But they made this figure was just amazing

    Great review, I disagree about wrist swivels, I think it's annoying when you have that and forearm swivel. It's crazy how far 3rd party has come since Peru Kill, which I thought was unbeatable. This guy just looks so natural and clean in both modes

    Super review, he do not scale with other characters like in the movie, but I don't know this figure is such a banger that I don't personally mind it. And consider he is a triple changer I think this Scale fits him pretty well despise not being accurate. °~°

    If you stick your arm out, bent at the elbow, and rotate your hand, you'll notice that most of the forearm moves with it. That's because all the muscles for wrist movement are actually in the forearm. Forearm rotation makes his articulation even more realistic than wrist rotation would

    this figure shouldn’t even be real yet somehow they managed to make it work. The copter mode isn’t that great but we only saw it once in a zoomed out shot so likeeee, it really don’t matter. Genuinely hope someone goes nuts and attempts Crosshairs.

    Hey so I have the figure now, and I think that the heli mode works better if you twist the head around. Also, he doesn't have wrist rotation but the whole forearm can rotate, which is a bit tough but gets him into so many great poses.
