      To be fair to Cirie, they thought it was a Final 3 in Micronesia. They don't find out it's a Final 2 until Day 38. So in Amanda's and Parvati's minds, they were fine with taking her to the finals. It wasn't until Amanda won that final Immunity that she thought about voting out Cirie, which she did.

    • @peachpanda88
      @peachpanda88 7 лет назад +6

      Michelle Ullman I was actually surprise then that it was suddenly made in to Final 2 when the original plan was Final 3. I love Parv but I also think they made it into Final 2 so that she will win. If it was Final 3 there is no way she could have ever win at all. She's 3rd place for sure. The winner will only either be Amanda or Cirie. Amanda for sure will still get Ozzy, James and Erik because they like her and was closest with her. Those boys are very loyal. Cirie will for sure get Alexis (she said on her Ponderosa video that she wanted Cirie to win) and Eliza (she hates Parv & Amanda). Maybe Jason too. Natalie is the one hard to predict though. She may still go with Parv.
      My only issue with Micronesia is that they should have told the cast it was Final 2 from the get go not tell them it's Final 3 and then suddenly change it to Final 2 on the last day. That was unfair. But the season is still great.

      It was harder to get Tai to turn on Scot than Cochran to turn on Savaii. Cochran didn't really have a clear end game with Savaii. With Tai, if he stayed the course and Aubry left at 8 (using super idol or not) Tai, Julia, Jason, and Scot could figure it out from there and Tai likely gets to the final 3 at least ahead of Julia and certainly has a better chance to beat Jason and Scot over Aubry and Michele.

      ChaoSloth I actually felt bad for Cirie because she is the one who came up with the ideas and plan the blindsides but everything was credited to Parvati. It was her who planned on Ozzy's blindside. She talk Alexis and Natalie in to it. All Parv did was flip her vote. And also the one who come up with Erik giving up his immunity necklace. It anything Parv have nothing to do with the Erik blindside at all. Cirie is the one who planned it all and then she had Amanda convince Erik to take her to reward and send Parv to exile to get Natalie mad and have Erik feeling guilty, and then finally she told Natalie to convince Erik to give up the necklace as redemption. Yau-man and Joel blindside is also because of Cirie and yet nothing was credited to her. The production credited everything to Parvati.

      Because of the result it shows- he established such a rapport with her that when given the chance, she wanted to work with him and Carter over Malcolm and Denise, and they offered him that deal. If he'd taken it, he easily could have won the season.

    • @eagerturtle4791
      @eagerturtle4791 9 лет назад +5

      But he didn't take the deal. And she chose Penner and Carter because she liked carter just as much. And she had targeted Malcolm openly at the f10 so she probably was hesitant to work with him. I understand that he put a lot of work in to Lisa, but I don't think you can call it a great social play when it didn't work.
      I would have added Natalie and Sandra convincing Russell they would never win while being more socially liked than him by the jury. Also could have chosen Parvati bringing in Natalie and Alexis for her alliance. It put her in a great position where she had strong connections to everybody at the merge apart from Eliza and Jason.

    • @SPlaythroughs
      @SPlaythroughs 9 лет назад +3

      Eager Turtle oh no, that move worked and here's why. When Skupin asked Lisa who she trusted more between Malcolm and Penner, she said Penner and it was because of that conversation. Had she not said him, he would have been voted out that night. He may have been voted out later, but still the opportunity for that deal came up, even though he didn't take it, he made it to the point where it was offered to him.

Oh and despite claims of having heart, she jumped off a log for pizza in an immunity challenge despite being the only Ulong left. Of and she betrayed almost everyone in Ulong as well as several people in Guatemala. And then there’s Sugar, who got the sweetheart edit, but several cast members of Gabon such as Kenny said she acted like an entitled princess. She also said that she just wanted to be on TV.
      Cirie is arguably the most heroic of all the heroes, even if she doesn’t fit the “all American” archetype. It's not a, "bad move", by Cochran in my opinion, it was multiple, "bad moves", by everyone on his tribe who just assumed he would stay with them.
      Frankly; when Ozzy tricked Cochran into holding the chicken so it's shit on him when he killed it, I f'ing lost any and all respect I might have had for Ozzy. Arrogant bully who got exactly what he deserved.

    I think no. 10 was just as much strategic than social. I really like number 9.
    My favourite social play was when Denise was not picked to go on a reward with Skupin in the Phillipines. Skupin took Malcolm and Lisa leaving Denise alone at camp with her biggest enemy Abi. Those rewards are designed to piss off losers and make them flip on their alliances, but Denise kept her cool, kept her alliance and won the game a week later. Most people would have gotten angry and done something stupid, but not denise who for my money might be the best player of all time.

    • @oskthebold1337

      +Jim Beam I think no. 10 is a social move in the sense that Natalie was able to get Jon and Jaclyn to fall for her story, rather than being about her vote for Alec itself (which was a great strategic move).

She shows you her card, if you tell her yours is better she doesn't oppose you, no hint, no flinch, leaves you convinced she is on your side but you are already dead for not taking her's. Miguel S The only way that could have happened is if she convinced Natalie and Erik to sway with her to take out powerhouse Parvati and her sidekick Amanda. This could've been done in the final 6 or 5. Keep in mind going against Parv and Amanda could have cost Cirie both their votes if she went with Erik or Natalie in the end. Very good thinking, most fans would say 'oh if there was just a final 3 of Cirie, Parv, and Amanda, she would have won." which is what i always thought.

      ***** You can't really put a lot of the best social players on this list because they don't have signature moves. Take someone like Denise and you can see that her game involves countless of offscreen moments in which she develops strong relationships with people. Yes, you could put her in the top 10 social players, but not in the top 10 social plays.

      Amanda gets Ozzy, James, and Erik. Parvati probably gets Natalie. There's no reason why Cirie couldn't get votes from Alexis, Jason, and Eliza, and she could still get Natalie or if it is 3-3-1 and Natalie has to decide in a revote, Cirie can win that too. Her social game is great and enough people respect her strategic game.

    • @amandanicole8703
      @amandanicole8703 7 лет назад

      I see what you're saying but I think Erik said somewhere that he would have voted for Cirie in a final three situation. I definitely think you're right about Ozzy and James staying with Amanda though. I could see Natalie still sticking with Parvati (although I think Cirie would possibly be able to sway her, especially because the two of them were both key figures in the Erik blindside and probably bonded over that), but I would be surprised if Eliza stayed with Parvati still. When it's all finished, I think Cirie would have Eliza's, Jason's, Erik's, Alexis's and possibly Natalie's vote as well.
      It's a shame because Amanda is really good at the game itself but she just can't seem to figure out how to finish strong when it matters most.

    Galu voting out Erik still makes no sense. They could have done a vote split (they had 8 vs 4) between Russell and perhaps Mick, although maybe Shambo would have flipped. By voting off Erik they eliminated their ability to vote split, it cost them one tribal later when Kelly went home. All they needed was one Foa Foa to go and then if they want to blindside Erik they can.

    Fairplay was not too much social, he's more a strategical threat than a social threat
    Cochran was DESPERATE he's at the bottom, Coach just stay and talks a little bit with him and its done, not too much
    Rob is a good social player, but the "keep Amber" thing was not too much, theres a lot of things that can be showed
    Some player should be there like Trish, Amber, Todd, PARVATI, Kim, Kara, Michele from Kaoh Rong, Matty from Gabon, Michelle from Fiji, Sandra, Colleen, Tom from Palau, Tommy from ioi, Victoria from eoe, Danni, Missy from sjds...
