If only he'd performed like this in the contest. Obviously we now know why it went so terribly wrong, but it's sad that the ESC performance is all that people know about this song.
Ted had what we now know to be schizophrenia, and was very unwell in 1979 but felt he had to do Eurovision to revive his career. He took his own life in 1997.
loved this guy and loved this song. Absolutely sweet. Very sorry for what happened to him.
Ted was so good. One of the best Eurovision entries of all time.
Wonderful Ted ❤
Best Singer from Sweden❤️👍
With best guitarist of the world
Never heard or knew there was an English version...wonderful!
So dope!
I would say that the song may have originally been written in English. I'm just assuming because the words rhyme well.
@@1stMikeWhite The words aren’t directly translated.
@@mrlarvux oh true that’s smart
@@1stMikeWhite most of Ted's songs have originally been written in English by Kenneth and then translated into Swedish
thank you very much for this song.

What happened? I've never heard the story

So Dope!
ABBA's Agnetha and Frida on backing-vocals.
Va är det är du säker
Not on this one.
English is much better than swedish version
that’s where you’re wrong my friend
Couldn't agree more with the English version. The mix just sounds more dynamic and his vocals are cockier! It gives an extra edge.
It's fantastic! but the arrangement has been changed during the live performance in Jerusalem preferring less lead guitar riff?
