I was at that show! I was at the left PIT. Got to see her walk away in front of me literally feet away from her after Reflection! BTW she noticed the sign I made for her! Still surreal even after 10 days!

If only she could throw just a touch of mix on her Eb5 belts and up :-(
If she mixed, she would belt F5

I think there are millions of reasons why I love her so much but with no doubt her gospel spirit and her soulful tone and colour(the one most blacks use to have)is probably what took me over the most right from the start when I didn't even know her yet, because at first I thought she was black and then what an awe for me when I found out she was 'white as snow' and with such an awesome vocal powerhouse. The best singer of all times, love you so much Xtina!!! 🌸😍💕❤

Xtina became a mezzo after having that bad technique, but we all know that she has always been able to achieve this, but since 2017 she couldn’t.
Same thing happened to Demi in 2014, she wasn’t able to hit even a G5 or a F#5 because of her bad technique. She fixed it and now is sustaining A5’s like an angel.
So i think that xtina is really working on her technique and fixing its issues.
    Just my opinion tho... 😊

Jorge Escudero Although I’ve done quite a bit of research on this there’s a RUclips video that can explain it better. To make a long story short she was too strong and too skilled in the parts of her voice that would make her a mezzo, especially or being untrained. She doesn’t always sing in low larynx. Range really doesn’t have anything to do with it. Hers was so wide cause of her biology, and she was singing for a long time coupled with the fact that she was 16-18 during her debut. A woman’s voice doesn’t come into full bloom until late 30’s, so it’s safe to say her voice was still very underdeveloped. Idk, I hope that explained it

I think this is problematic because if you know Christina Aguilera, she might naturally be a soprano, but if you listen to her sing since she was a child, she already developed that "pushed down big sound" ever since she was as early as kindergarten age. If you watch carefully to all her singing/performance videos in her childhood and early teenage years, you'd know that all her repertoires are all done in mezzo soprano key (some of them are even on alto keys like What Child Is This). What we have to highlight here is the fact that she has a big difference in her voice when she talks and when she sings. because she CREATED THAT SOUND HERSELF, so based on that, we have to really accept that she wants to have a name for herself as a big vocalist not a high vocalist. There is a video detailing of her having a problem to hit the Reflection note at first, then they had to introduce her to a vocal coach afterwards. THAT'S WHY on her debut album she sounds like a soprano. If you listen clearly to her debut album she doesn't even have a F#5 belt in it, not like all the sopranos we know such as debut Mariah or debut Whitney etc. So this means even from then on she wants to "sound more mezzo or even alto" because that translates to "sounding big/bigger". Based on that, she was, is, and will always be a mezzo. In Stripped booklet, if you carefully read the thank you's, you'll find out that her "flawed, chesty technique" is because she was taught by Linda Perry to scream at the top of her lungs. So, if there's somebody to blame here, it's Linda Perry. But then we wouldn't get something as legendary as Beautiful. In Back To Basics, because she revisited her childhood era because 20s 30s 40s blues soul & jazz is what she used to listen back then, she was able to (for a short amount of time) to just sing like she was a child again, therefore she sang it more naturally & not as pushed like in the Stripped era (to achieve a more gritty sound to match the angst of the record), the result is she is able to even belt a G5 quite a couple of times. And then she had Max, her diaphragm changed & it is irreversible, therefore the deeper sound was made naturally because of motherhood, and then it is what we all hear until now. All the way from Bionic to Liberation era, she has the same quality, same range, same everything. The ones changing/fluctuating are only her mood, her nerves, & her confidence. The prove to this statement is if you actually lower all the keys of the songs in Bionic, Lotus, & Liberation, they EERILY sound like as if debut Christina is singing those songs. Try to do it and you'll see what I mean. So, all in all, her range has been stable all these years, with or without any technique, be it good or bad, and she was, is, & will still be a mezzo for years to come.

Jorge Escudero I dont understand what you mean by that? In order to find out someones vocal fach, you look at a few different things. The real way to find out what they are is to look where their voice is the brightest so to speak. This means where its most agile, powerful, and comfortable. Mezzos are most powerful in there mid range, and again in the head voice up to E6. Also you cant judge off speaking voice.

Punto.

Christina can not sing a E5 . Ariana can, demi can, Jennifer Hudson can and other but not christina. I love Christina her d5 and eb5 but the true is that she never sing a good E5, F5, g5 etc
