    well in the question about municipal bonds and oil stocks, you have subtracted 7% from 35% however the question appears to me like 35% in MB (only) 18% in oil stocks (only) and 7% in both (MB & Oil stocks).

    For the question where you ask "what is the probability that exactly two of them hit the target?", can you do: 1- P(that exactly one of them hits) ? or would this be wrong?

    • @skariaparakal
      @skariaparakal 10 лет назад

      It would be wrong...because when we take 1-P(at least one of them hits) we take into account that
      a)two of them hit the target
      b)all three of them hit the target
      To get the right answer ,you subtract the answer u obtained with P(all of them hit the target )...I.e.1/60
