i am doing the same thing. i didn't know someone else had already done it until i decided to search just to check but yea i'm waiting on my stuff to get here . i got a question for u tho the lcd screen i got the one without the hdmi adapter it just plugs into the pins on the pi will that work ? awesome video.

I would imagine with the right drivers/code it should work.
