Nice video Kenny, looks a very cool unit. You will have lots of fun with that mate. I was looking at the same unit, but now thinking of going 3 phase as I have 3 phase in the shed. Thanks for taking the time to share. Cheers
It’s a great machine at the price point. Love mine. Bit of a learning curve working out the settings. I recommend going into advanced synergic for double pulse. Just to custom set your balance, low current and frequency. I use single pulse and a back step mainly. I just find it easier. Set up your hot start and crater fill. Mate you won’t look back.
Yeah mate, I would definitely do all the main long welds with double pulse MIG. It’s just so much quicker. You would still need a TIG for the finer areas where you need to finesse the weld a bit more. The MIG is great but you can’t put heat in without adding wire so it isn’t suitable for some areas.

Thanks mate. Jealous of you having 3 phase 👍🏼 I need a bigger shed
Hey Kenny, no matter how big-a shed we have, we are always going to want a bigger one LOL. Take care , Cheers from west Oz

Did you work out what that 100 mm steel tube was for?

Have you got the 4in one acdc machine ?
This Unimig one is a 4 in 1 but it’s only DC TIG. No AC.
Hard to imagine the reasoning behind not including AC in a tig machine.
First
Not hard to be first with my view counts mate 😂 but well done 🏆
