Anyone can buy stuff from wish to make anything look good at the mall. different strokes for different folks. That being said, you should start off your videos with " first 5 mods for a non off road Jeep" as you may get some that copy your opinion on mods and find they wasted their money if the choose to hit trails that are harder than your average fire road. everyone buys their vehicles for a different purpose. At least you didn't put an angry grill on it with rubber ducks in the dashboard. lol keep on doing what you do, everyone has their path in life.

Where I live every other vehicle is an "off-road" Jeep and yet in the past year that I have owned mine I have NEVER seen another Jeep here off-road except for my and my father's Jeep.

First mod I’m making on my ‘21 JLU Sahara is changing the running boards. No offense to people who like them, but I think the factory ones look soooo cheap, and throw off the look of the body-matched fenders and roof. Next will be 33s on 18s, maybe a lift. Great video!
If your going to lift it and put on tires I would suggest either front lower control arm drop brackets or adjustable control arms. The ride and handling is so much better.
If it's your first 4x4 and you plan to off road, add heavy duty tire carrier and a way to carry fuel outside. Learn to use it before you start lifting. Join a 4x4 club or find friends to 4 wheel with, don't go alone. Buy some recovery equipment. Drive it until tires are about half gone, by then your experience level will be much better. I like the suggestion to improve the rocker guards, stock ones aren't much good for protection.
Yeah if you plan on doing off roading, don’t do what I do lol mine is mostly for looks. I have more clearance which is great but ultimately it’s built for the road and light trails for camping/hunting.

Plus, this ain't your first rodeo, that's why your mods fit your needs. Newbees on the other hand need a little more info before they do tires, lifts, etc. Aftermarket mods on a brand new jeep can void warranty, gas carried inside behind the seat can cause headaches.

When decide to go make sure to first take it through some brush and get desert pinstripes..... it's going to happen so just get it done.....then start small and work your way up.... when you find out what your jeep is capable of you'll be hooked .... you'll only tear up your rig if you do things you shouldn't be doing....oh.... but you'll definitely tear up those tires and rims...... need more side wall....

Sport s. Threw some take off Mojave springs/shocks. I’ll put some 33” wheels on it when I find some I like. Then maybe bumper with winch. I’ve had some reliability issues with this jeep. So I don’t know how much money I want to sink in it.
Got 2 inch lift, 35" on my Rubicon, and I love the Jeep Modular steel bumber (was a great option). Winch is a MUST (was my FIRST) and added a brush guard that protects teh winch a bit more. AS for Running boards, I'd get the ones that double as rock rails as well. Having said that, my jeep (a '21 JL Rubicon unlimited hybrid (4xe) was able to do Hell's Revenge in Moab stock! (THink the electric engine helped a lot!) but the 35" tires and lift make it so rock rails and underrside armor don't scrape as much! NIce Jeep! I'd add a winch to it :) Maybe some extra lights? (which I plan to do to mine next)
What kit still clears a standard garage door? Will your jeep fit in your standard garage? I ask because here, it's -30F with the wind 2 months of the year, and i drive a stick.. So no remote start.. And before anyone chimes in.. E-Brakes freeze in the winter, so it has to be in gear..
First mistake was getting huge rims. Small rims with big tires is the way to go. You'll be able to lower air pressure to get more traction. This thing says asphalt crawler.

You missed the most important mod of all - change the headlights to Euro headlight lens with HID bulbs!!! Even the JL factory projector LED headlights cannot compare!

Did you have to change your driveshafts? Debating going between 3 or 4 inch lift. 18x 10 with 33 or 35? 20x10 with 33 or 35’s. So many questions lol. 2016 JK.

I like Sahara, less than a rubicon and everything you can ask for inside. If you plan on doing a ton of off roading, it may be worth getting the rubicon because it comes with a better gear ratio for big tires and upgrades suspension. Sport you can make badass too but may miss out on some goodies. No wrong answer

My stock Jeep is pretty badass I'd say. I plan on a 2.5-in lift and bigger tires when my radials wear out. But she's badass as-is.

Just think about it, they weigh more and take more force to spin and less aerodynamic. Bigger tires = less gas mileage

With a 3.8l eng and that lift and tires, you better get regeared. 4.88s imo.

If you want to best bang for your buck, order Venom Power XT’s, there’s not the best but there the best cheap tire and look great.

Can you run 35's on a 2 1/2 inch lift? I thought you were limited to 33's. FYI...I own a '97 TJ.
I looked into the DV8 hood and realized it was steel, heavy and prone to rust. And the 'fit' was not as good as stock.
A good paint job and you won't have rust but it is pricey!
I love my stock Jeep, I have the money for the lift/tires etc… but it’s bad ass as is! Just saying…
