Great analysis showing how Jeanty sees opportunity during the play and is able to make the most out of some broken blocks, which just happen every play at every level of football, no fault to the O line or the defense. That is the normal reality of big-boy football at the line and the running game. That's why Jeanty is so special. He's able to compensate for the misses on the offensive line, and use his athleticism and technique to overcome the defensive athletic advantage.
ashton jeanty is an unmovable force and will not be stopped, I'm so excited to see his future in football. bro literally got 3 touchdowns in the first half alone, aside from mastering basic mechanics, he's just an all-around wreckingball that also can sweep your ankles out from your feet...
I agree but I think his lack of physicality has been greatly improved over the offseason. If you look at his recent washington state game most of those highlights were just outright strength domination, including knocking over a defensive lineman in the endzone.
I've watched him since he came to BSU. Lack of physicality? I'm not sure where that idea comes from. He has always been a load to get down (him and George Holani were a brutal tandem).
Teams that Boise State has beat over the years: Oklahoma, Washington, Washington State, Oregon, Oregon State, Arizona, Georgia, Arizona State, Virginia Tech, Florida State, TCU, Virginia, Iowa State, Utah (more than once).................
Generational talent. Barring injury he's a Barry Sanders clone. Give him simple zone blocking and 15-20 carries a game and he will give you an instant, credible running game. Scheme your offense around him, give him 20-25 carries a game and he's a 2,000yd rusher multiple years. You would have to work OT to NOT have a running game with him.
Just discovered this channel but the other videos seem to be pretty on par for how player performed. Dude's got nice insight into players. Can't wait to see what else you have for other players this season.
I see it, too. Someone called him a cheat code and that's what he actually looks like. Max speed, max strength, max agility, max vision, max acceleration, max jump... I mean you saw that leap against Washington State... Unreal!
This guy is heisman. Sadly, he won’t get it because the system doesn’t respect non power schools. But man he can play ball… best thing to happen that program since kellen Moore left
Considering that my New England patriots no longer possess an offensive line to speak of. I really hope that the patriots can draft this kid. We’re gonna need a player who can thrive in a weak offensive scheme until we can build a strong team.
What do you mean he’s not a bruiser ? Thats one of the reason why he’s so sought after, he doesn’t go down on first don’t contact, his contact balance is also crazy. He trucks everyone when they go high on him, arm tackles he shrugs off and he falls forward on 90% of his runs
Also 9:26 would never ever get called for a hold 😂 , if the defender ran around and tried to get out and he kept holding him then yeah, but that play specially would never get called for holding
I think his point was that despite having the strength to never go down with first contact, his agility is much more developed than an Adrian Peterson or Marshawn Lynch. He's also 5'9" and compact. He's a balanced threat, not a bruiser.
@@chrisp930 that’s fair, just seemed like he was pretty critical of him a lot and only had looked at a couple things of film. So I might have just got that one wrong
@@cd2_ It's not that he won't run you over, it's how he does it. Not straight power, but he literally FORCES you to be off balance and on your heels. He's an Allen Iverson crossover with a football. He still packs a punch, but if you try for the kill shot on him that will just get you put on the wrong side of a SportsCenter highlight.
He'll be an average nfl back, even with his perfect vision and great elusiveness he doesn't have that second gear to beat nfl linebackers through the gap or at an angle. I think he'll fit well in a team like the lions that have a solid duel rb system but not in a team like the ravens, packers, or eagles which rely heavily on their rb1's. Could be completely wrong but that's my take rn
He will be a 1st round pick. You need to watch more footage because he is a generational talent. No running back will ever be taken that high for a small roll. I guess the scouts might know a bit more than you.
bro he’s about to break barry sanders record. he not only would excel for teams like the lions, he would excel on any team because he’s not just a great running back, he’s going to be one of the greatest of all time.
I like how Jeanty stands in the backfield like he’s in line at chipotle

Not to mention two games this year he didn’t get a snap the whole second half 😂 this dude is a beast, good Broncos

Also I saw another analysis point out that he doesnt lose speed when changing directions which I find very fascinating.

He runs hard, breaking tackles, plus the vision

@@Mountaindwell4 yes, and Kellen needs to be inducted into the college football hall of fame. I can’t believe they over look him every year.
How about that O line? Watch/read any interviews with him and the first people he credits is the O line.

how did he run for that long touchdown against Oregon
Not a very good breakdown. When you said “he’s not running over people” I just about turned it off.
9:32 not holding, your not trying to

If you don’t believe he has that second gear you haven’t seen his film from this season.
He ran 22.1 mph in a game last year and has hit 21.5 3 times this year, Xavier worthy ran 21.5 on his streak route against the chargers.
So to say he doesn’t have that speed and acceleration is crazy
